You can take public transport or a taxi, or a Moto (motorcycle taxi) to any destination, although the busses are crowded. Kigali is a beautiful city—the cleanliness, calmness and general orderliness—it’s a tourist’s delight! I enjoyed my tour of the Genocide Memorial: it’s a well thought out idea. Kigali’s functional city infrastructure; street lights, well done pavements, speed limits, disciplined driving and the constant innovations are such a breath of fresh air. It had been a while since I visited and I highly recommend it!

It’s also very handy that it’s right next to the Marriott as it’s an easy landmark for tour guides to navigate to and from. Also I want to shout out Omega and Shariff who work in the apartment block and were very helpful with helping us acclimatise and suggesting local spots to watch the football, grab something to eat etc. They were both very helpful!
