Really very beautifull, clean, fully equipped, roomy and quiet accommodation (quiet except late June/July, when wind is strong). View from teracce is excellent. Very good free wifi. Self-catering apartment, close (300 m) to GRP Supermarket - "Indian Convenience" at Google maps. Open every day, you can find there practically all necessary for cooking, when you want to cook. And others... Payment via card in GRP is possible and without problems. But if you want, Didi & Sebastiano, owner of Jardin Marron, can cook for you - menu list is available and dish is very tastefull. Close to beautifull Anse Lazio, about 35 minutes per foot. And other nice, quiet and lonely small beaches are near. For Praslin, we didn´t need to rent a car for our 15 days stay, but it depends... Transport from Praslin airport to Jardin & back was arranged by owner (reccomended). Bus is cheap (12 SCR to anywhere/July 2022). From Jardin you can do Pasquiere track per foot to Island Pizzeria on opposite side of island (180 SCR for 2 was most expensive) and back - about 8 km, don´t worry. Or continue per foot to Anse Georgette viewpoint, then to Anse Lazio and back to Jardin Marron (round track about 18 km). More other activities are possible. Shortened, everything was OK - very recommended.

This area is very quiet and peaceful.
This area is very quiet and peaceful. Excellent for recharging your batteries. There isn't much to do in the area so you need to be aware that this is for pure relaxation more than anything.
The bus timings are a little unreliable and some of the drivers seem to drive as if they're in a race, which makes it all a bit uncomfortable.
The ferry port services are very good and ferries are reliable. There is a dive centre next to the port - if that's your thing - good rates and friendly staff too. You can charter a boat from them also.

I was on foot so didn’t get to explore much, but the scenery was beautiful. I snorkelled a little and saw plenty of fish, though there was better snorkelling when I went on a separate tour (as expected). Overall, very scenic place but you’d need a car to make the most of it

Nice location, well positioned to "everywhere" on the island. But we recommend to rent and use a car against just using a public transport - even if also with it you can however to get nearly to all possible places on the island, but you might lose a lot of time, which you could otherwise enjoy on beaches, jungle, etc.

Baie Sainte Anne is a convenient base to travel to beaches, the forest and all over the island of Praslin. It has many eating places and take aways. One can also take a boat from there to the neighbouring small islands and it is also close to the main jetty.

A mini-mart was just next to the hotel for some munching
Hotel it-self was super clean and tidy, the restaurant lounge was very comfortable and sound of the waves was very relaxing
Hotel staff was super caring and helped proactively in assisting in all requests
Breakfast and dinner was super delicious
Wifi was good
View from the room was great
The convenience from the port to the hotel, literally 5 mins walk, the best view ever in our whole stay in Seychelles! The service of the staff is superb, from the reception to the 2 server in the restaurant. OMG i love their chocolat, til now Im craving, view from resto is amazing! Beautiful view from the bathroom til you go out of the balcony. Made our stay very worth it compared to the other hotels we've stayed. Worth the money!! Highly recommended for short or long stay.
It was a unique experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful tropical garden. Staff - always smiling and helpful, very friendly, ready to fulfill any request. The room was perfectly cleaned every day. Breakfast is something wonderful - beautifully presented, in a restaurant overlooking the ocean, eaten in the company of sociable birds. Spectacular swimming pool. It is about 7-10 minutes to the bus stop and the shop run by a very nice gentleman.
Location, beach, cleanliness, room view, facilities, friendly staff, amazing restaurant, and free water sports available for hotel guests such as kayaks and paddle boarding. We especially appreciated the help of the staff when my husband was stuck in the current while paddle boarding and they even offered us a free drink to relax and enjoy the rest of our stay. The food was fantastic and they had a nice breakfast and dinner buffet.
The appartment what we got was huge with all the staff what you would need. The breakfast was delicious and every day a bit variated. We have rented a car from the villa which was very comfortable, they have picked us up from the ferry and transfered to the hotel, excelent service. It is a family business and last evening we could met with the owner who was really nice to us, I appreciate they did for us.
Wonderfully located along the beach with almost all rooms overlooking the sea, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cote d'Or Lodge. Nice food is served, rooms are very spacious and comfortable, staff absolutely friendly and helpful ready to assist with any issue. Not only we strongly recommend it but we feel it is one of the best reasonably priced options of the whole area.
Wonderful location, the view from the room is breathtaking. The hotel has a private beach in the bay with very calm and clear waters (no big waves compared to other beaches on the island). The staff is very nice, always looking to help with anything, cleaning staff does its job very well, and the food is great! You will not want to leave!
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We especially liked the view from our room and the fact that there is a great snorkeling spot right by the pool area.
The staff helped arrange a car hire for us and gave us a lot of useful info.
The grounds are beautiful with all kinds of flowers and plants.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It's located basically on the white sandy beach, that narrow road on the map between hotel and the beach is a very low traffic street. We were really satisfied with the restaurant, we ate breakfast, sometimes dinner and lunch there as well.
Everything was in walking distance. The bus stop is directly in front of the accomodation. We had towels for the beach and we we're allowed to use the beach at the hotel across the street.
