Hotel has absolutely amazing location just oposit the beach. The view from rooms is perfect. It's also around 20 min walking to the center of the island. You can rent a bike in the hotel and discover the island easily. The superior rooms are good. Bathroom needs some refreshments.
Overall we are very happy with our stay at Patatran.
Breakfast is slightly poor however dinner on HB was very delicious.

The room, the terrace with swimming pool and the lobby were very nice and comfortable. The receptionist guy, Mohan, was the nicest and most helpful person - nothing was too much for him to do.

The room and bathroom were nice - the bathroom could use a little maintenance, but overall was ok.
The breakfast was decent - you have a buffet with fruits, vegetables, cheese, butter and jam and you can also choose from hot dishes made on demand: pancakes and omelette / scrambled eggs with vegetables, cheese and ham.
They arranged bikes for us (at an extra cost), which was nice.
The host was very friendly and they even gave us a map explaining all the interesting spots we should visit.

Paradise… definitely recommend to stay for a few days instead of just a day trip! Loved the laid-back vibe of the island. It only has a few cars, so very convenient to get around on foot or by bike. You can stop at the hidden beaches you discover on your way, enjoy the view of the tropical forest, and befriend the turtles you meet on your way :). For a bite, don’t miss Chez Jules, great fresh juices and amazing food!

Although I was unlucky to get 1 full day of heavy rains but I enjoyed the property with swimming pool and took a rainy walk around.
They have got best beaches and would recommend to visit Source D'argent beach for sunset.
Cycling around the beach road was also fun...!

The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches.
The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches. The only downside is that the concentration of visitors is the highest in Seychelles. That said, you can still find your spot in the shade on most beaches.

We have visited 3 islands - Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
We would not return to La Digue, Mahe and Praslin are much more recommendable.
Anse Source de Argent and Anse Patates are very scenic, great to take pictures, but very hard to swim (stones and corals, need for special shoes), flat waters. Grand Anse is better to swim (we had big waves during our stay), but not really scenic.
Best beach on Seychelles - in our opinion - Anse-Lazio.

Unique island vibe, very friendly people (local and tourists as well), plenty of food options (shops, take-aways, restaurants). Recommend to rent bicycle and go around island to see all the beaches and spots. On the other hand a lot of running constructions, so I hope this island will keep its atmosphere forever :-)

It’s a beautiful island with stunning beaches , forest and giant tortoises. However it’s overpriced and overall service is of a low standard many times slow with no smile or no interest to make customer happy . It’s hard to get a good clean food . There are some nice takeaways though and lovely people who try to do their best but it’s not a majority .
Many shops have no prices on items . Water is not potable and the cheapest price for 12 bottles of 1l is around 15 Eur .
It’s not good destination for snorkelling as corals are very damaged and majority is bleached . Nevertheless it’s advertised as a place with stunning corals so we felt cheated when we discovered a reality of a reef . It’s still possible to see some sea animals like turtles , sting rays , tropical fish but not in abundance. We dived as well 2x but as we didn’t like much diving and they seem to us overpriced (220 for 3 tanks ) so we didn’t do more.
I personally prefer Indonesia or Maledives for snorkelling or diving .
Trips are also extremely expensive - such as 70 Eur for half day of snorkelling trip .
It’s a small island and transport is mainly by bicycle (it’s necessary to pay attention at lorries and taxis when cycling )
Overall, I think it’s good to visit for beach and nature lovers , max 1 week . It’s not good destination for snorkelling. We stayed 12 days- it was too long . It’s nice to see beaches but we wouldn’t return .
If you are visiting La Dique (or the Seychelles in general) you will not find a better apartment!
The host and the whole staff is just pitch perfect! Helpful, kind and proffessional! We arrived as guests and left as friends!
A place is spacious, clean and very well equipped not to mention that lovely tropical vibe! The Location is great the jetty is in walking distance and anything you might want to visit is a few minutes bike ride away.
Its not 10/10 its about a 100/10…
We will come back!:)
Well located property not far from the jetty (easy walking distance). Mini-market within 100m of the property. Interior is basic but has everything one needs from a self catering unit. Bicycles are a good idea on La Digue and are available for rent at Coral Apartments. Breakfast appears to be standard throughout the Seychelles, expect 2 eggs, 2 slices of toast, fruit, juice, and tea or coffee. We had a very pleasant stay at Coral Apartments.
The accommodation is very nice, we had the upper apartment in Chloe's Cottage 2 with large balcony under the roof. The breakfast was great, the service as well. You could always ask questions or get tips. Bikes, cab etc. were organized for us. The hostess there is incredibly warm and you can have a great conversation with her. We will gladly come back if we visit the Seychelles again.
The villa was great! It was just renovated and looking new, modern for seychelles standard. The owner is very hospitable and accommodative.
Unfortunately we stayed just for one night but our stay was pleasant.
We had to leave early for the ferry and we got our breakfast in the evening.
Breakfast is standard for la digue - a set breakfast of eggs, fruits and tosts plus coffee or tea.
We had awesome time on La digue.if i need to sum it up....the guesthouse was well-maintained, very clean and very green.our host was friendly and helpful.we could rent the bike bikes from the premises, which made our stay even more easier.the facilities in the room was great, everything you need with a full functioning kitchen.its close to supermarkets and La source D' argent.
The best thing about this property is by far the host (Nadine). She is very kind and responsive and will help with all matters when in La Digue (recommendations for best places to visit, best places renting bikes, calling taxis). We even had a medical emergency (allergic reaction) and she acted so promptly to assist.
also has the best Jams in the world.
The room was beautiful and clean. It has been designed well. It’s bright, cozy and relaxing. The internet speed was superior to other properties we’ve been to. The staff, especially those who were in the restaurant, were very polite. The breakfast was the best we had in La Digue. The Italian Restaurant serves good dinner, too. We even ate there twice.
We started our honeymoon at La DIgue and Le Nautique Waterfront hotel was the best choice we could have ask for! Starting from the extremely kind stuff and management to the perfect location, great food and beutiful room. We had the Waterfront room and the room was great.
This was a perfect choice for our two night stay in La Digue. The location is spot on, a 3 minute walk to the jetty and local restaurants, yet so quiet. We rented bikes directly from Fabio, the owner of the place. Great value for money and highly recommended!
We loved everything ! Lucy and Alex are the nicest, helping you anyway they can, the rooms are very nice and their breakfast very good ! i would definitely recommand to stay here to anyone, we will definitely go here again for our next stay in Seychelles !
Staff super friendly, helpful and considerate. All very good value for money by Seychelles standards. Excellent location. We enjoyed our breakfast immensely which was served with the warmest Seychelles hospitality.
We absolutely loved the property, its location, cleanliness, privateness and the staff. It was the perfect place for our first days of vacation on Seychelles. Also the food was amazing - locally sourced and fresh.
The breakfasts were awesome. We could not eat through it, so it's a big plus. Owner was very friendly and helped us in everything that we wanted. One of the bests takeaways in Seychelles is near the hotel.
The view is insane!! The place is absolutely gorgeous and the the food Jerard cooked for us for probably the best we ate in La digue. A place you won't forget!!
