- We come to Zuberec every year during the Folklore festival on the first weekend of August. It is a lovely combination of culture and hiking. - There is a lot to do in every season - hiking, biking or skiing just to name a few. - You can also visit the museum of Orava village and cave Brestova. Zuberec is located in the beautiful nature.
Zuberec is located in the beautiful nature. The nearest mountain is available by foot or by local bus. You can also see the waterfalls, when you are looking for the simpler hiking. I visited the restaurant called "Oravska izba", which I can highly recommend. In Zuberec you'll find also sweet shop.

We love this nice village a lot.
We love this nice village a lot. In last month we already have been there for 3 weekends. Zuberec is a lovely place to stay, quite, with fresh air and nice views. We really love the restaurants, food, and friendly people. What is the best is the possibility for all the mountain and forestry walks. We have been to Volovec, Baníkov and Roháčske plesá, and it was just amazing. Fresh air, beautiful views and nice workout for the body, we are definitely coming back! :-)Erin-kaSlovakia - 10Scored 10

Perfect place for any type of relaxation - nature walks, hiking, winter sports. The locals are amazing and the views all around are just beautiful. It is great value for money with nice local food in most of the restaurants.

The kitchenette and small bathroom are convenient features. The balcony offers a nice view of the mountains. 5-minute walk to the groceries and restaurants. A good starting point for hiking and backcountry/alpine skiing in Western Tatras (Roháče Spálená). Overall, it's a fine choice for those looking for a place to stay in Zuberec. Our room had cute furniture in a traditional slovak style. Bed materess and sheets were very comfy. Kitchen was also very well equipped, we even had a Dolce Gusto coffee machine with coffee capsules in the room. This was definitely one of our most comfortable accommodations we have ever experienced.
