We did not stay long enough to see more but we had a great time at our hotel les Goreennes Suites and at the beach. The area is not that clean but it is quite lively with hotels and bars around, opening till late. The weather was nice and people were friendly.

My family and I had a awesome time at the property.
My family and I had a awesome time at the property. Receptionist was friendly and offered to help in every way possible. The staff was great and accommodating - I wanted to say happy 4 wedding anniversary to my daughter and husband within a few hours the area was transformed into a celebration with very little notice. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.
Thanks to the entire management and staff. 💕

The welcome and service at the restaurant was perfect.
The welcome and service at the restaurant was perfect. The musical animation enjoyable. The big point I didn't like is that there were mosquitoes in the room during our entire stay. Generally I give a positive rating and recommend to the maids to spray the insecticide chambers after each cleaning in order to eliminate mosquitoes.

The big hotels have claimed the beaches and you can't get to them. There are a few bars and restaurants on the strip but not enough for more than a couple days. Don't even bother visiting the beaches in Mbour, they are full of rubbish. Interesting to look at a real local town though.
My stay as Casa Louka far exceeded my expectations, it was one of the best places I stayed during my 2 week trip in Senegal. The owner is very helpful when it comes to planning activities such as to the fish markets, somone, or Bandai reserve and a great person to talk to about anything. The staff was very helpful and trustworthy as well. The breakfast was delicious with fresh OJ and omelets. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone, especially solo travelers.
At least 2 points just for the really good internet, amazing that a small villa invested in good internet when large chains in hotels I've stayed around the world haven't bothered with that. Interesting room and decor, definitely not bland. And the compound has some nice seating areas. Room is cleaned everyday though it took a few days before the sheets were changed. The area in Saly is not the resort area but not bad to be somewhere different, taxis take you to the main areas with about 1500cfa.
I liked that this hotel was all-inclusive. All food and drinks are included in the stay.
I liked the quiet setting on a private beach.
Their pool is large and well-maintained. It's suitable for all levels of swimming.
The staff is very helpful in finding places you need to know about in the area, i e., transportation, shopping, etc.
Although a bit outdated, the rooms are large, quiet, clean and the beds very comfortable.
A very unique property blending nicely with the African vibe and the “colonial architecture”. The rooms were amazing, breakfast really nice and the location great. The staff was super friendly and always helpful and ready to give you any recommendations based on you needs. Big thank you to Paul, the hotel manager for his assistance!
Cute little hotel in a local area away from Saly's huge resorts and tourist traps. Very friendly and polite staff! A big thank you to Modou who helped us out in a bad situation! Tasty and varied breakfast. Nice swimming pool and garden area. Close to the beach and beautiful sunsets. Would definitely come back!
Small, clean, very basic rooms a 5 minute walk up from the beach - 10 minutes from the centre of town with friendly management team. It was good for a night (my original hotel was booked up so I had to move) but I don't think it's a long term option. Save your money and go elsewhere for breakfast.
This place was beautiful, and the walk to beach and adjacent hotels close by is an added bonus.
The staff was so lovely and l will be back to stay again soon loved everything about it especially the lovely front desk staff she was brilliant professional and made our stay very comfortable 👏🏾
This hotel is a true gem! The beach is just steps away, and the breakfast spread offers a delightful variety. The bartender's skills are exceptional – don't miss the fresh draft beer. Evening live music adds a lively touch. Highly recommend for a memorable beachside stay!
First of all the staff Balde pape and lemou where amazing. They made the stay great just lovely people. Location was great with a nice little restaurant down along the beach.Rooms are nice and breakfast is just perfect. Just a nice sized Hotel
This is a budget hotel so do not expect 4*. It is near the beach and restaurants and bars. It is a taxi ride to the main Saly drag and the area is not full of short term tourists. This is the second time I have stayed here.
Lovely hotel very tranquil. Room was great with our own jacuzzi. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. A beautiful oasis to unwind and relax.
The hotel is a boutique offering,, constituting a walled block within the downtown area. Everything is new and perfectly clean. Very large rooms and a friendly staff.
