I stayed 2 days and really enjoyed my time there. I stayed in playa st Blas during the day and drove to playa El Tunco every evening for the restaurants and the night life. Check out farallones and al acantilados hotels for a more refined experience in La libertad. The restaurant at the farallones is worth a visit at leastAAnonymousEcuador - 8.0Scored 8.0

Beautiful beaches; it's is a shame business owners do not invest money in keeping the beaches cleaner. And some of the business owners empty waste in the ocean. So disappointing they have their business there and do not protect this beautiful beaches.

I love La libertad it has so many Beaches and places to explore. It is just amazing. If you live seafood or surfing this is the place. If you ever go there and like the living night and have fun like nightclubs visit El Tunco especially on weekends.AAnonymousUnited States of America - 6.0Scored 6.0

Prices do not reflect the value of the product. The name "Resort" doesn't go with the facility since everything is rustic. Air conditioning does not work very well. I woke up during nights several times in a cold sweat. Bathrooms had only partial enclosures that allow water into the toilet area. Number of towels was limited. Body soap and shampoo was limited or none. La Libertad is a rural area that has limited formal business. So, wondering or shopping around the hotel is not feasible. I tried to cancel one of the two nights and was told it would be too complicated to do it. Food was fine but expensive. Prices were twice as high as what was available at next door beech. I enjoyed the views, the gardens, and the night tranquility. One night would have been enough though.

My husband and I stayed for several nights, and we really enjoyed the proximity to everything in El Tunco. The hotel felt very safe, it had a delicious breakfast, and the room was very comfortable. We had air conditioning and a mini-fridge and it was such a treat. The messaging back and forth before arriving was also very helpful and responsive to my questions. I would definetly stay again and can highly recommend.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurant food is very good and the chef, who we met, is really trying to improve the menu all the time. My main comment to him was that the menu needed to be expanded. If you're there more than maybe 3 days, you'll be repeating a dish or dishes. They also need a small "pool" menu. They do serve food at the pool, but a menu of smaller hand foods for the pool area would be good.

With a small space, they really managed to include everything in the room in a very clever way. The bathroom was a great size, the kitchen was perfect for cooking brekkie and dinner and there was a TV with netflix. Lights over the bed made it so cosy at night. Garden area isn't finished yet but was still very cute and really clean.

Everyone from reception, cleaning staff, and the waiters were so kind and respectful. The service here was the best. The hotel was also very clean and allowed for social distancing. We went during the week so it wasn’t super busy at all which made the experience better.

The room was big and airy and nice and quiet. Beech is a stones throw away with other food options . Buses are easy to catch from the main road to La Libertad and beyond. All in all a good spot.
