My wife and I are still thanking God for this 3 day trip to San Salvador. The people there are all so friendly and helpful; and it is obviously because they are so happy and thankful to God for using Nayib Bukele to rid their country of the gangs, so that now they can live in peace and prosperity. I have never been to a place where the people are so friendly and kind, and willing to go out of their way to help someone. We saw an emerging new nation of people who take their freedom seriously, love their President and respect authority, and take God's mercy seriously...a nation who is educating their children properly and striving to never fall into the same terrible trap that they have been delivered from. San Salvador is an excellent place to visit. We look forward to going back sometime soon, God willing.

The new national library is a work of art and definitely worth a visit. El Salvador now is a very safe country to visit unlike some years ago. We were there end of March so it was already very hot with 39 Celsius in the afternoon. Best combine the cities Santa Ana and San Salvador with some days at the beach to cool off.

San Salvador has much to offer in the form of a very safe environment for couples, families. They are an abundance of stores, coffee shops and places to eat traditional Salvadoran or other types of food. During certain hours and in certain areas, traffic can be overwhelming. Using applications like google can help you navigate around the city as some streets do not have the name of the street posted which is a big issue that needs correction.

Safety it's a plus, feels secure and walk freely at anytime (Zona Rosa and Centro Historico...) Many places and different cuisine styles at affordable prices to choose from... Transportation it's ease using private or public service. Always use common sense to avoid dangerous situations like carrying a lot of cash large denominations...

The traffic is kinda bad, and a lot of public places like roads, walls, and parks can benefit from paint, but the local government is improving a lot of places, the facilities, and the security. I hope with time it keeps improving, for now, it's an OK site to pass on the way to nearby beaches and mountains.

It is a much safer city now in 2023 and people frequently talk about the sense of peace they now feel pretty much anywhere in the city and the country in general. Salvadorian people are kind and customer service oriented by nature. The beaches are nearby and a must see when visiting the capital for a short stay.
No comments everything was fine. It is quite far away from the centre (taxi $10 one way), but the area of the hotel is much nicer with numerous options for eating and drinking and shopping around the corner, although the area is relatively expensive. Easy Walking distance to Tica bus terminal. Purified water is provided. Excellent shower and well working Aircon. A few hours early without additional charge.
What I liked most about our stay was the staff. Location is safe, however, is not walkable. We Uber the whole time. The older security guy is super nice and takes care of the customer. You have free coffee, water and tea all day which helps a lot. The hotel feels like you are in a big house. Was very quite and felt safe.
We choose these place because of the location, BUT once there is the staff that makes this place the best place to stay while in El Salvador.
10 stars 🌟 🌟 to all of them, specially Perla.
Thank you for making our stay in San Salvador an awesome one.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff - I checked in late evening due to my flight time and the night staff couldn't have been more helpful.
This theme continued throughout my stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone else staying in San Salvador
One of the few hotels in Central America with a hot shower. I was allowed into my room earlier than the usual check-in time. I had a pretty nice and comfortable stay. The location is very close to metro Centro with access to most attractions.
The hotel is at a nice and secure location in San Salvador, close to restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Easily on walking distance to most of those. The rooms have A/C, which is a must considering the heat of the city.
Comfortable beds and room in general.
Low noise.
The location is good, a little bit separated from the main hotel sector.
There was free parking available.
Excellent breakfast. Try the pupusas.
A good location in Zona Rosa. Felt expensive (we paid $80 a night) for what it was - a basic hotel. When our room had a really bad smell from the drains, staff were quick to clean and sort it out.
The location is alright. Some restaurants are not far from the hotel, and the city center is 10 minutes away by car or 20 minutes by foot (but it's not really designed for pedestrians).
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Arbol de Fuego while visiting San Salvador for work. Very helpful and friendly staff, clean, great breakfast, and a nice and walkable location.
"The hotel provided an amazing experience with its comfortable suite and convenient parking, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious Swedish buffet breakfast."
One of the best buffet breakfasts we have taken in San Salvador. Spacious restaurant, never too crowded. Personnel very kind and willing to take care of us.
The breakfast is the best part about the hotel. The kitchen staff makes different local dishes every day and it's all very tasty. It feels like a home stay.
