Pattaya is not for family holidays. it is one of the sex capitals of the world young girls old and lonely men. if thats your scene this is the place like angeles in phillippines. If looking for a more family or couples type hoiday dont come to the city try Jomtien which is more sedate and a better beach or to the west huan hin or further south krabi. Depends if you are a singel traveller or not and the purpose of the holiday whatever floats your boat ?

Pattaya is a busy little city, attractively situated along a scenic beach. It has limited natural and cultural attractions beyond the obvious main [sex] tourism industry. It is full of bars, massage parlors and shops selling typical tourist items. The city is very crowded with cars, scooters, baht-trucks, taxis and buses. Pedestrians beware! There is a fairly good variety of restaurants - most quite reasonable priced. The city is a magnet for older men seeking the company of Thai women - and therefore not a particularly suitable place (generally speaking) for family vacations - though some luxury hotels offer good facilities for family stays (pools, etc.).

Pattaya is mainly for men to have, a good time. I went to enjoy the surrounding area. If you are a single man of any age or sexual persuasion or married and don't care, Pattaya is a big city with a lot of bars restaurants,massage shops, the ladies out number the men at least 3 to 1. Thai people are wonderful, non judgemental, hard working, industrious.clean, healthy. They look out for each other, have care and respect for themselves,friends and above all their families. The city is organised chaos and you will iether love it or hate it. There is a vast diversity of people, so if you do not love people, do not go. I personaly had one of my best holidays, because I was furtunate to meet a wonderful lady my age, and will go back in December. The best part we see was all pics that shows on booking.com perfectly match with reality so we find it's genuine and very convenient location all basic setup in rooms clean good pool. Beach is 20 minutes walking from this property and walking street 1km approximately. I recommend the place and staff are realy good people . This is a genuine low price hotel in central pattaya.

Balcony made us able to smoke without walking downstairs out the building.
