There isnt much to do in Bophut. We stayed for 4 days and we felt it was too long. The beach is ok albeit small and the only clean areas are those around the hotels and resorts. Once you walk outside your hotel the streets are dirty and smelly and overall lack good infrastructure. there are almost no trees on the streets. Bolt And Grab dont work in the Bophut area and people have to rely on the very expensive taxi mafia. Tourist prices everywhere which are similar to European prices. The Fishermans Village was great with a lot of food options and souvenirs, A must see but open only on Monday and Friday evenings, Other than that, there is nothing else to do in Bophut.

Bophut has a good mix.
Bophut has a good mix. Fisherman's village is quaint but has plenty of life, pubs and restaurants, and a good night market. The beach is clean and not overcrowded and there are plenty of trips on offer Over all a good area to base your trip to Koh Samui from

Lovely clean place full of restaurants/bars, markets, but not too lively, perfect for us and families.
From the pier, the taxis are sooooo expensive. Going back from towns to pier, 200 to 300baht cheaper. So barter. To our hotel price on board was 1,000. We refused and offered 600. That was accepted.
In 4 nights, we ate twice at Summer (next to coco tams) amazing, and we cld see the fire show perfectly.
We hired a car for our stay via our hotel, so probably not the cheapest way. But it was convenient for us on a short stay. One day cost the same as two taxi rides, and instead of doing tours, we went to all the places on tours that we fancied.

The condition of the road surface was abysmal.
The condition of the road surface was abysmal. The drainage is also sadly lacking. The pressure put on the vendors when there is significant rain is terrible. There are also some areas that need a good clean up.
Always wear footwear that can get wet if there in the wet season.

Fishermans village was a great place for shopping and dinning, numerous excellent restaurants of which some were right on the beach, daily cultural shows. Great beach, great water activities provided by the hotels such as kyakes, paddle boarding, jet skies, speedboat hire etc.

Bophut is relatively quite, especially compared to Chaweng, so maybe better suited for families. Lots of nice places to eat though and food in Thailand is just amazing anyway. Coco Tams bar on the beach has a cool vibe and the nightly fire show is amazing. You just sit on a bean bag ahead of the show up to an hour before to secure your spot, order your beer, and wait for the kind of show Health and Safety probably doesn't allow back home
What is not to love about this place, the staff really make it. It's right on the water, an amazing swimming pool overlooking the beach. It's right in the fisherman's village but on the side that is quieter , however the hustle and bustle is a 5 minute walk.
My room was a good size and the aircon was very appreciated.
The shower comes with conditioner, shampoo and soap in clay jugs, it was a really nice touch.
The loungers around the pool are really comfortable, they have spent money on these and you can tell
It was our first time on Koi Samui,we stayed in Pico Samui for 7 nights and it was perfect. The bungalows are nice size and very clean, we loved the breakfasts, and also had lunch and dinner few times, the food was very tasty every time. We have a 5 year old, she really enjoyed the kids pool, but also the Bophut beach was perfect for her. We absolutely recommend Pico Samui, perfect location, close to amenities, Fisherman's village, very kind and helpful staff! Thank you!😊
Wonderful little boutique hotel in an excellent location. We loved our stay here. It is close enough to the heart of Fisherman’s Village that it is only a short walk to restaurants, a great massage, or 7-Eleven, etc. Our room overlooked the water with comfortable balcony seating perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets. The manager, Pito, was very friendly and helpful. You step right out the hotel onto the beach. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
I want to write a bad review because it’s a chain moving in on Koh Samui but I can’t. It was like a Travelodge or Premiere Inn in Thailand only with amazingly friendly staff, some nice but seemingly quite busy pools, a beachfront, not up to Lamai standard but certainly better than anything in England. For the money it served a stopover purpose.
The staff were humble, polite, courteous, friendly, real attention to detail. 100%
Great value accom especially for younger kids, loads of pool toys, tree house, massive trampoline, useful having microwave, fridge and kettle plus, seperate private shaded seating area next to each bungalow. Less than 5 mins walk to Fisherman's Village and beach. 7/11 right opposite the hotel. Good Thai restaurants if turn right out of hotel. Bophut much nicer than Lamai for families.
Hotel was excellent incl. food, beach, furnishing and location. The best place we had during a 2 months journey through Thailand! But even better were the people :) The whole team, esp. the Manager (Mr. Kity?) was so helpful, friendly and always there to support. We will keep our stay in this resort in best memories, and would love to come back!
Nothing!!!
Worst accommodation I have ever seen and we travelled the world and visited Thailand and Koh Samui several times staying at multiple accommodations. Also me being a hotel manager for years, I found this shocking and unacceptable!
Do not book! Stay away as you will be highly disappointed like we were...
The garden is more than beautifull.!! Great job!! Old hotel , but the very clean. 2 different pool, seems good for the childrens as well.
The only hotel in Koh Samui( 3 different others) where there were film chanels.Very quiet place!!!
Lovely bungalows in garden setting and great bar and restaurant area. Bophut beach is just across from the hotel and in the evening the walking street comes alive. Very good night market within a few minutes walk.
I don't know what to say - everything was just perfect :) I stayed in the old building and really did like the room, the building interiors and the kitchen. Very close to the Fisherman village and Bo Phut beach.
It was just great! Quiet, clean and beautiful. 2 m walking from the beach and the swimming pool is super cute. The ladies at the reception were super nice and gave us some nice tips for Koh Tao.
The location was perfect, beautiful sea view view, plenty of space and comfortable! If we ever come back to Koh Samui we will 100% stay again. Petr was very welcoming and made us feel at home.
The breakfast was the BEST we had in thailand.
The pools were so nice, we stayed in the deluxe rooms near the beach but the other complex looked a little unwelcoming..
But the place is great
Great little beachfront property walking distance from fisherman’s village. Nice accommodations in a perfect location for a reasonable rate. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
We had the most lovely stay at this hotel, understated luxury and fantastic location (quiet beachfront location close enough walk to Fisherman’s village).
