The Host - Originally from Germany I have been living on Ko Samui since 2010 and became a part of the vacation rental world in summer 2016, when I started to host guests from all over the globe in my own two nearby villas - Villa Melo, which I built 2015/16 further up the mountain in Chaweng Noi. The Neighourhood - The North East of Koh Samui is the island's busiest area with Chaweng being the center of all tourist life. Chaweng Noi lies at the Southern end of Chaweng, 10 minutes away from Lamai. Many luxurious villas overlook the Gulf of Thailand there and it's one of Samui's most sought after spots to build your vacation home. Villa Alba is located at the bottom of the Chaweng Noi Mountain and invites you to enjoy fantastic sea views while still being able to walk to the beach within 5 minutes. At the beach and at the main road you can find a few restaurants in walking distance. If you are riding a scooter, driving the car or get the taxi, you will reach all big supermarkets, hundreds of restaurants and the nightlife within 10-15 minutes. A short 5 minutes drive away on the way to Lamai you can spend sunny hours at the less crowded Coral Cove or the Silver Beach - arguably the most beautiful beach on the island.
