We fell in love with the villa the first moment we walked in. Literally. We knew we were going to buy it when we opened the door overlooking the pool area. First of all, the design is Balinese, which we actually prefer over Thai architecture. The villa is very private, very romantic, and we've had some of the best times of our lives there. There are bigger villas on the island, but this villa is very special as the photos will attest to. I've had a number of guests who come to the villa and plan on leaving for many meals, etc and end up almost never leaving the villa. And if you have kids they typically will live in the pool. The villa also attracts a lot of honeymooners---plus we've even staged weddings there. And if you like to stay home and lounge, we have Satellite TV with the full package of programs, plus a lot of DVD's, etc. and there is also speakers outside the villa in the Sala, Dining Area, over the pool if you want to listen to music.

I am a television commercial producer who lives between the United States and Thailand, producing commercials all over the world. I first came to Samui in 1995---and fell in love with it and ultimately purchased this villa after renting on the island for a number of years and trying to figure out the area I wanted to live in---which was---Bophut.

The great thing about Villa Samprassda is that you are only a five minute drive from Fishermans Villa, Bophut Beach (home of Walking Streets on Friday nights). Bophut is filled with great restaurants and bars (no girlie bars here), so it is very family friendly. But Chaweng Beach is only a 15/20 minute drive away and there you have nightlife that goes on until the wee hours. If you want to go shopping---Lotus, Big C, and Makro are only five to seven minutes away-----and there is a great outdoor market with fresh fish, etc. just at "Ring Road," where you exit when you come to the villa. In Fishermans Village/Bophut which is only five minutes away there is a walking street every night which we encourage all of our renters to go to.
