Alacati is quirky, easy to explore and wonderful to visit.
Alacati is quirky, easy to explore and wonderful to visit.
It was however incredibly expensive, a small beer was over 200tl and a gin and tonic came in at at 800tl. We went for the Ot Festival so prices may have been inflated due to this. Still worth a visit just fill your wallet before you go!

A very cosy village in the extreme western Turkey, just one hour far from Izmir. Well kept, a lot of bars and restaurants. Beautiful environment (houses, streets....). For some views it quite similar to Provence.
Just pay attention to the costs... Alaçati is not cheap, especially if compered with the rest of Turkey
so my advice is to take your time to search for the perfect place for dinner, there are a lot of them!
Anyway it worths a visit!

The breakfast is incredible and the hotel is designed beautifully. However, I had a massage that was truly awful and the hotel did nothing to address the negative experience, which was disappointing. The restaurants are good, but expensive. A simple soup and Turkish manti is +€50—not great value for money.

Busy resort feel, but not quite on the beach.
Busy resort feel, but not quite on the beach. Countless cafes and restaurants, but nothing to do except eat, drink, shop & people watch. Either rent a car or scooter or pay taxis to get to beaches, wine routes etc. Youthful Turkish demographic. Some live music but no rowdiness.
Absolute gem of a place to stay in Alacati. Me and my sisters stayed there for a few days and we loved it! We know where to stay next time.
They made us feel like we are home. Especially owner Gamze extremely kind and sweet person I have ever met , and made our stay that extra bit special. The hotel located in a great location , it’s about 10 min by waking to the main restaurants and busy area , breakfast was top , rooms were clean , everything about this hotel was really great! Highly recommended!
Very clean, comfortable, beautifully designed boutique hotel with so much charm and character! The staff are exceptional and went above and beyond to help us with transportation, and anything else we needed. Thank you, Leila!! The breakfast was 100/100, one of the best we’ve had in Turkey! They also accommodated us with our booking issue on the first night. This is a wonderful place! Amazing hookah restaurant just around the corner (Kurucesme) and tons of shops and cafes in walking distance.
I highly recommend this place for couples and families. Staff members were really helpful and nice, breakfast was super delicious. Everything was clean and comfortable. Hotel manager Gamze hanim was really nice and helpful she recommended several places and guided as carefully how to travel around and fully enjoy our trip in Alacati. Hotel is very close to bus stop and taxi service. I recommend to catch a taxi or use dolmush service from Airport in order to reach quickly to hotel.
A lovely family run hotel in a quiet location close to the centre of Alacati. A 5 minute walk round the corner and down the road takes one to the edge of the old town which is full of restaurants and shops. Mini buses run from the end of this road (opposite the Taksi garage ) to Ilica beach and Cesme. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast full of home made items.
This is my second time coming here, it's a very cute boutique hotel. It's a very central hotel, right in the city center, within walking distance of nice restaurants and popular entertainment venues around.
It has gained a special place in your eyes with its spotless rooms, delicious traditional breakfast and friendly staff. I will always enjoy coming!
Cozy hotel, amazing location right next to Alacati's walking streets but far enough not to be disturbed by its nightlife. Walking distance to cute little restaurants, shops, stores and clubs. About a 5-10min to beaches if you're driving and available free parking right outside the hotel. Good breakfast with a nice selection of Turkish food.
Hotel location is really good, walking distance to restaurants, small boutiques in the center. Breakfast was traditional turkish “serpme kahvalti” - little bit of everything. Staff was friendly, especially Dilan and Daniz helped us a lot. Thank you Gaia Hotel for making our stay special. We will come back definitely.
The hotel is perfectly located - close to the hustle and bustle of Alacati (which is really noisy and crowded in the high season), but yet on a quiet street. The breakfast is amazing - the best one we had in similar places in Turkey! The room is comfortable and cosy and has everything you need for a short stay.
Excellent boutique hotel located centrally in a very nice part of Alacati, the hotel has been recently refurbished and has been decorated very tastefully.
The staff are exceptional in particular: Furkan, Della and Kadir, they were extremely hospitable, kind and courteous. The breakfast is AMAZING !!!
The hotel owners mr. Murat and mrs. Adil are very friendly and kind, the hotel is very cozy and clean, good energy and vibes, they are very generous with food and drinks. We recommend this hotel for everybody coming to Alacati, we are definitely going to repeat visiting the hotel in the future.
Ahmet, the receptionist, is an amazing person! He made our stay really pleasant and amazing. We would have not liked it as much if not for him.
The hotel is so close to the old town. We really loved everything there. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Alacati.
Nice boutique hotel with great hosts! The location is very good, 5 min to the center, the breakfast was great, they gave us free room upgrade and helped with their recommendations and restaurants reservations. Overall, we had a great stay there!
The hotel is very nice. The location is great. By car you can reach ilica beach and alacati carsi in just a few minutes. The staff is very friendly. We would book the hotel again and definitely recommend it to all, who wants holiday in alacati
