One of the best city I've been in Turkey, if you book hotel near seaside be prepared for the jack up prices there. From the tour agency, restaurants, street bazaar. Walk and explore a little further to their local restaurants & shops you'll find that you'll definitely see the price difference. Did paragliding for 50€ per person (must try most affordable activity)/ buggy ride, zipline & water rafting for 50€ per person By recommendation from locals there for good food .We went to Lost in Alanya restaurant & bar it's crazily crowded but had best food & drinks thereEiza EishaaSingapore - 8.0Scored 8.0

A few things to do, however the biggest attraction of Alanya is the beach and the weather. It is a cheap holiday once you are there, however the issue of getting there is hard and expensive. There is a large variety of food options, in a range of price points. You have to go and visit the Castle and the Marina!

A beautiful city with lots to do.
A beautiful city with lots to do. Big enough to offer everything you could want from a vacation but also small enough that you can easily walk around downtown. The buses run every 5 minutes and you can get anywhere quickly. The people are extremely friendly and helpful and almost everyone speaks basic English. Delicious Turkish food is all around and you can find international options as well. It is very clean and the beaches are beautiful. There is lots to do if you'd like an active vacation but it is peaceful enough that you can just relax on the beach all day and night and no one will bother you. An amazing place, I am definitely going again!

You really should keep count of your money and use converter...
You really should keep count of your money and use converter or a list of how much is one euro in lira’s and don’t pay too much for anything !! For example, perfumes are fake, shirts will shrink in first wash, toys break easily.. And always make sure you pay the right amount. If don’t like shopping just ignore the shopkeepers. I preferred the elvis-beach, cheap, near town and a good spot for swimming. About taxi; if you’re not sure how much does a certain trip to somewhere cost, demand the put the meter on and also keep an eye on the meter in case they would tap more expences there. You may think as 1 km is 1€. AND they sell everything in the pharmacy; if you get like eye- or earinfection you will get antibiotics from the pharmacy straight to that. It’s awesome. And for couples etc, (K18) the turkish honey sold in those small markets everywhere, it’s a lot of fun.

Pick the right time of the year for the right crowd winter is my preference because their are no crowds and generally the temperatures are around 15c Theres some fantastic food to experience and some wonderful Turkish spa like the royal family spa at the Hawaii suite beach hotel (dont stay at hotel ) The Turkish relaxation is most affordable the 2 license Therapist will take care of you with outstanding professionalism. The sights are mostly with in walking distance of the beach. There are attractions that were closed when I visited but I will be returning pre crowds lolTom

I can say that this place is not just good, it is simply the best in this category, leaving competitors far behind. This 109 m2 flat had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large living room with kitchen. Also a huge balcony. It is fully equipped: 2 TV, home cinema, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. There is a pool in the garden, all necessary shops are near, see is 5 min walk. Highly recommended.

Also, they have a restaurant on the ground floor, with very delicious dishes and the prices are good. Definitely the best choice for families. If I return to Alanya, Delfino would be my only option. 10 out of 10
