A unique combination of the beautiful Turkish sea and unparalleled food options. For a town with a resident population of about 3,000 it has over 350 restaurants and bars, with many reaching a very high standard of cuisine. The roof terrace restaurants are superb and a repeatable experience. The beach club options cater for all tastes. There are plenty of things to do from boat trips to visits to the local heritage sites and a large variety of shopping. Locals are very welcoming.

Kalkan is a beautiful place but having been a few times I wont rush to go back. Nothing to do with the wonderful setting but more to do with the ridiculous noise coming from a few of the bars at night. Don't get me wrong if you are young and into bars where you need sign language to talk this could be the place for you. But later at night I like to chill but no matter where you went in town all you could hear was the noise battle between 2 bars cranked to volume 11 which drowned every bar near by. So not for me, day time yes but night time Not a chance.

We have been to the Mediterran Hotel three times now, so clearly we love it and would recommend it to anyone. Generally, I would say it’s a couples and groups hotel, not much for kids. It’s a fair way out of the main town which is nice, but for a couple of quid you can get a taxi into the centre or the port. The taxis are plentiful and you never have to wait more than a few minutes for one. The people are all very friendly and not too pushy when trying to get you to enter their restaurants. There are plenty of shops, where you can buy amazing fake clothing, most of which is of a reasonable quality, excellent, if you take into account you can by labelled trainers for £15-20! There are plenty of food and grocery shops if you are self-catering. In addition to having stayed at the Mediteran we have rent villas in Kalkan for family holidays. There is also a good market with food and clothing. Kalkan has provided us with many great holidays.

Kalkan was was a really nice resort.
Kalkan was was a really nice resort. Plenty to do but not too busy. There were plenty of great places to eat and the old town with its narrow cobbled streets were lovely to walk around. A visit to Seaport restaurant is a must, great food, great staff and great location.

A really beautiful area with stunning views and very kind people! The city center itself was a little too busy for us but, we went to a lot of great areas just around the city in Kaş, Fethiye etc. - very practical to rent a car to get around !

Kalkan is a fabulous place! Nice chilled atmosphere.
Kalkan is a fabulous place! Nice chilled atmosphere. Fantastic food didn’t have one bad meal in two weeks. Warm, friendly people. Great for all ages, couples and families. Very hilly in places even in the town so be mindful if walking issues.
I did like alot of stuff, first the location of the hotel is amazing.
The place itself is charming and beautiful to stay in.
The pool was also a nice activity.
The breakfast was delicious 🤤.
The staff were really helpful.
It's not far from the city center yet it's just away from the whole crowd.
Lots of beach choices around the place with discounts given by the hotel.
It was a nice stay if it wasn't for the couple of problems I faced that made me feel it's fine to leave and check out.
The hotel is in the centre of the old town so you can walk everywhere which is fantastic. The hotel is a small family run business, our room with terrace and incredible views, was perfect. Very clean and tastefully decorated with quality products. We were made to feel so welcome and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel. Also their restaurant; ‘Salonika 1881’ was the best one we ate in out of the many we tried and all were good.
We had a wonderful stay at the Sultan Hotel in Kalkan! One of the standout features was its stunning location overlooking both the city and the sea, offering a breathtaking view. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very accommodating. The delicious breakfasts were a delightful start to each day. The hotel owner, Sertaç, was exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist. I would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay
Tijen is a super friendly host. She helped us with arranging a transfer from Kalkan to Mahmutlar near Antalya (6 hour trip). She was very kind to our little son, and helpful to find nearby groceries and so on. The apartments are very close to the public beach and nice restaurants in the old town. We enjoyed the balcony as well when the little one was off to bed. Great stay, would come here again.
Right on the beach. Excellent fresh Turkish breakfast on the upstairs balcony with a terrific view. Lovely restaurant serving freshly cooked food (some of the best experienced in Kalkan). Free water taxi to the harbour. Most of all, the staff were fantastic, probably the best we've experienced anywhere in the world. Nothing was any trouble and always greeted with a genuine smile.
GreenBeach is perfectly located with stunning views. The hotel is great and the rooftop room with the pool is beautiful. The owner Yavuz and his entire team went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food is fab, the access to water sports is great and the water taxi over to the centre of Kalkan is so easy to use. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Hotel was great, clean, staff fantastic, Tamer in the restaurant was exceptionally good, and the food was excellent, only gripe was could not get a drink around the infinity pool the phone did not work and we told reception to get it fixed, great hotel water taxi into Kalkan fantastic views from rooms, lot of steps not for the elderly or infirm, would go back.
Excelent big white modern room. Huge panoramic windows which makes you feel like you are already at the beach with great sea view.
Location is good for chilling (calm and no crowd). Hotel is located right in front of own private Green Beach. To the Center 3 minutes by car.
Breakfast is good.
Staff were friendly and supported with every request.
Thanks a lot!
What a sweet hotel... It is a bit dated around the edges, but like a good bottle of wine, it gets better with age. It is super clean. The staff is very helpful, the breakfast is plentiful, and the views are spectacular. Closely located to the local beach as well as numerous restaurants in town. We will definitely stay here again when back in Kalkan.
This is a modern boutique hotel located in a quiet area of Kalkan with good atmosphere & suitable for small families with kids. Definitely the best in the area & quite new. Everything was easily accessible by car. Very good option for families looking for spacious hotel apartments. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was generous and super tasty.
amazing structure of the hotel, see is seen from everywhere , many seats in the shade to rest, get snacks or drinks. very nice and helpful staff. absolute rest and getting away from routine. very good breakfast and nice kitchen for pretty suitable price. two steps from the sea beach
especial thanks to Tolga, who makes your staying perfect
The hotel itself is situated in a quieter spot of Kalkan a 5-8 minute walk from the city centre but is also populated with eateries and a shop. The rooms were very clean and looked like time and effort was spent in decorating them.
The site also had onsite parking and the breakfast was all hand made. 10/10
Best place to stay in Kalkan, great vibes ,very welcoming staff , in a prime location in Kalkan , we had two rooms double and triple, the double was small but the triple on the upper floor was amazing with great terrace overlooking the sea.
Lovely air conditioned room with everything we needed. The view from the hotel and from our room was great - especially at night with all the lights in Kalkan! The staff were really helpful and friendly.
Really lovely hotel! Stunning room and views, peaceful location (but only a 5 minute drive to the main centre), delicious breakfast, very friendly and accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend.
Great location for bars, restaurants, harbour etc. The breakfasts were super and we ate dinner in the hotel 3 times as they cook delicious Indian food. Staff really friendly and helpful.
a great small hotel with its own gorgeous beach area.
quiet and clean, nice breakfasts, super helpful & caring owner & staff. spacious room. walking distance from the town.
