I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.

I didn't experience any old or interesting features there.
All the food in restaurants are more or less the same throughout Turkiye. I'm sure there are subtle regional differences. But I couldn't pick any.

Ankara is an undiscovered gem in Turkey.
Ankara is an undiscovered gem in Turkey. People think if this city only as the capital city; however, it offers many sites and attractions worth visiting and explore. The region around the hotel has many restaurants, cafes, pubs etc., the city has numerous museums, concert halls, parks and shopping venues. Furthermore, it's the most orderly city in Turkiye; hence, getting around is not a problem at all.

The city is very car-centric.
The city is very car-centric. Even if the places you want to visit are close to you, you'll probably need to cross 10-lane motorways to reach them. However, there are some great examples of 20th-century architecture and interesting archeological museums.

beautiful city, that incorporates the real aspects of life in Turkey.
People there arenot like in istannbul or Izmir, they are welcoming in their own way, without feeling the touristic pressure.
amazing weather in winter (if you are a fan of cold weathe of course)
yet the cold isnot a problem all facilities are well warmed up and you just need to dress well for the streets as it can get pretty cold and windy.
lovely city, you can see many governmental buildings, side by side to other touristy places.
Anitkabir is a must !
I came in here after a really heavy part of my tour on the bicycle through Turkey for the last 3 weeks. I was looking forward for a nice room with a good shower, after several disappointing rooms in other towns. The Hich Hotel was more than I had hoped for, it was beyond my expectations.
The room is superb. Really tasteful decoration. The patio is great. The staff at the reception is really nice, the cleaning is super. I brought in a dog, and the people were awfully sweet to her. I can recommend this room to everyone.
This is a small boutique hotel that’s central with food shops and sumpermarts just a stone’s throw away.
Rooms are small and bathrooms even smaller. Claustrophobic I’d say. Even for the bigger category rooms one can’t swing a cat inside.
Breakfast was good with the best eggs served.
What was outstanding thou were the staff who made our stay personable and pleasant. They emphasise on getting to know you and make it a point to connect hence I can understand the high ratings.
5 star for service!
4 for everything else.
It’s very comfortable and clean, greatly equipped. The most of all I like the beds, low enough and flat and the collection of pillows you may choose. Spa is very good and not crowded at all. The breakfast is just excellent - super fresh and healthy food. But the most of all which I love in this hotel is stuff, they’re so much polite and helpful, truly professionals. Please reward the staff as much as possible 🙏🏻😁
My wife and I loved staying at this hotel. It was in a perfect location. Walking distance from the centre of town. We received amazing service from the staff especially from Cemre who was at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We really appreciated her efforts in making us feel comfortable staying at the hotel and for leaving us with a good impression of Turkey and Turkish people
Very good location, near the Ankara Castle, The Anatolian civilizations Museum and in front of a good restaurant with exceptional view to the city.
The owner were very kind and supportive. He even supplied us with the HES codes, required in Turkey to enter some public places. We're really grateful!
The breakfast was wonderful too. We tasted cream and honey on the slice of bread for first time. We loved it ☺️
First of all I'd like to emphasize that at reception they spoke English and could answer all questions including ones about tourist attractions!
The location was very good - close enough to the main draw - Citadel , Ulus metro station and pick up point of the bus to airport .
The buffet breakfast was very good with variety of food.
The hotel evidently was refurbished and everything looks modern.
I stayed at that hotel first and last night of my long trip all around the Turkey. Room was small and clean, bed was compfortable. Stuff is helpful. Hotel is located to a lot of beautiful signs, cafés, restaurants, local market, airport. On the stairs I liked a lot of nice Turkish styled things. When I needed something, everything was done so quickly, thanks.
Great location near the Kizilay square with so many shpos, stors, exchange, malls, bus station, metro, taxi, and every things you want.
Airport to Kizilay by bus with right price.
This is good for people that don't stay in hotel for long time during the days.
This horel is my choice again in Ankara.
the hotel is not good
the Aircondationing not working good
the staff not good
the need to charge for my sister for visit per-person 10 euros
it’s ashamed in any hotel 5 stars to say must pay money for visitors
Breakfast was within expectations as an average of turkey hotels. No hot food except boiled eggs.
Location.
One trainee male young guy in the reception helped in English translation at the time of check in.
Ilci is a clean hotel with happy and smiling staffs. They will help you for any question/problem.
The location of hotel if fine and close to shopping location with about 500-700 m distance.
