Breakfast was fabulous as was the food overall, just a little disappointing that there weren't some traditional turkish dishes or fresh fish of the day dishes.
For me the steep hills and all the steps without handrails were an issue as I have mobility issues

Wonderful holiday in October 2023 with my family. The hotel is situated on the edge of Kalkan but a short taxi ride(5 minutes one way and cheap- 130TKL at time of review eg about £4) into the centre or a 40 minute walk up a very steep hill. Location was absolutely perfect for us as it doesn't attract crowds , is away from the hustle and bustle of Kalkan centre and has the added benefit of direct access to the beach, meaning we didn't have to go and pay for any other beach clubs. In fact the majority of the time we had the hotel pools to ourselves and the deck area was never very busy. Added bonus was the beautiful weather at the end of October and still warm at night too. All Kulube staff are very friendly and efficient. We had a grande suite for 4 of us which was large with 2 balconies and a partial sea view located just behind the main hotel reception. One of the bathrooms was a little 'tired and basic and there was a whole kitchen unit area in the suite which was superfluous as you werent able to self cater or bring any non-hotel food into the rooms so it didn't containany cutlery etc so not sure of its purpose.. The suite was regularly cleaned and worked for us apart from the above note. The steps up and down to breakfast and the sea kept us fit! Top Tip: take some £ to pay for bills in some restaurants in Kalkan as you get 10% rather than paying in TKL or by card given inflation rate in Turkiye is v high.
Striving to treat its guests as friends, this delightful family-run hotel offers a swimming pool and enjoys a peaceful location, a short walk from the lively village of Kalkan.

A unique combination of the beautiful Turkish sea and unparalleled food options. For a town with a resident population of about 3,000 it has over 350 restaurants and bars, with many reaching a very high standard of cuisine. The roof terrace restaurants are superb and a repeatable experience. The beach club options cater for all tastes. There are plenty of things to do from boat trips to visits to the local heritage sites and a large variety of shopping. Locals are very welcoming.

Kalkan is a beautiful place but having been a few times I wont rush to go back. Nothing to do with the wonderful setting but more to do with the ridiculous noise coming from a few of the bars at night. Don't get me wrong if you are young and into bars where you need sign language to talk this could be the place for you. But later at night I like to chill but no matter where you went in town all you could hear was the noise battle between 2 bars cranked to volume 11 which drowned every bar near by. So not for me, day time yes but night time Not a chance.

We have been to the Mediterran Hotel three times now, so clearly we love it and would recommend it to anyone. Generally, I would say it’s a couples and groups hotel, not much for kids. It’s a fair way out of the main town which is nice, but for a couple of quid you can get a taxi into the centre or the port. The taxis are plentiful and you never have to wait more than a few minutes for one. The people are all very friendly and not too pushy when trying to get you to enter their restaurants. There are plenty of shops, where you can buy amazing fake clothing, most of which is of a reasonable quality, excellent, if you take into account you can by labelled trainers for £15-20! There are plenty of food and grocery shops if you are self-catering. In addition to having stayed at the Mediteran we have rent villas in Kalkan for family holidays. There is also a good market with food and clothing. Kalkan has provided us with many great holidays.

Kalkan was was a really nice resort. Plenty to do but not too busy. There were plenty of great places to eat and the old town with its narrow cobbled streets were lovely to walk around. A visit to Seaport restaurant is a must, great food, great staff and great location.

A really beautiful area with stunning views and very kind people! The city center itself was a little too busy for us but, we went to a lot of great areas just around the city in Kaş, Fethiye etc. - very practical to rent a car to get around !

Kalkan is a fabulous place! Nice chilled atmosphere.
Kalkan is a fabulous place! Nice chilled atmosphere. Fantastic food didn’t have one bad meal in two weeks. Warm, friendly people. Great for all ages, couples and families. Very hilly in places even in the town so be mindful if walking issues.
This was our first visit to Kalkan and we chose Kalkansuites appartment because it looked totally nice and friendly from the pictures - and we were right! The owner of this place have paid so much attention to details, you get pleasantly surprised in every corner of it. The place is simply breathtaking! The view, the pool, the appartment - amazing! The breakfast in the Kalkan Suites Coffee House is one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever seen. The team is great, big respect and thank you for everything! We are definitely coming back soon!
For a super chilled stay in Kalkan you won’t go far wrong staying at this hotel. We were there for 2 weeks and loved everything about it especially the fresh breakfast and the lovely family that run it. Kalkan is a great spot and Lavender’s lodge is in a lovely quiet location with spectacular views.
Steep walk back up from the village but for TL20 (GBP2) a taxi is well worth the investment!
Highly recommend, nothing is too much trouble!
Big thanks to the hotel team for a super comfortable stay!! It was probably the best service ever. The staff stayed in contact during the whole stay, helped with the transfer to the hotel from Antalya, taxi to Patara and Kaputar beach and any requests. The hotel is absolutely new and cozy. Delicious breakfast. It will take you approximately 20 minutes walk to Kalkan beach and 10 minutes to the Kalamar Beach Club.
Frankly speaking, everything. The staff were more than amazing. Everyone was so friendly and made my family and I feel home. There was Arkan especially who was so welcoming and felt like someone we knew for years. The only thing was breakfast, it was not that wow compared to the price otherwise not a single mistake at Samira. The location is more than wow, the comfort, cleanliness, everything was great.
This is a modern boutique hotel located in a quiet area of Kalkan with good atmosphere & suitable for small families with kids. Definitely the best in the area & quite new. Everything was easily accessible by car. Very good option for families looking for spacious hotel apartments. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was generous and super tasty.
This is one of the very best pansiyon/hotel experiences I've had. Everything was top-notch. Selma and her co-workers are both very friendly and professional. I highly recommend you stay for dinner too as their cooking is better than any other restaurant in Kalkan. We will book here again if we ever return to Kalkan.
Fantastic boutique hotel, and wondeful hosts, they went out of their way to help repair a flat tire on our car, saving our trip. The views are amazing, its super clean, and we gor our welcome wine with cheese platter which was a nice touch. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was incredible!
Big hotel in a good location , quick 5min taxi into Kalkan centre. Rocky outcrops for sea jumping and good snorkelling - swimming with turtles everyday ! Didn't use the pool - over 16years only in one - and the other was very busy. Friendly staff and fellow guests.
The location is perfect for a relaxing time, the biggest plus for us was their no children policy.
A small family run hotel with beautiful views across the bay.
We had the room on the top floor with a nice sized balcony.
Ideal for snorkelling.
Nice breakfast.
The hotel is at a perfect location with just few minutes walk to the beach. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help with any query. The breakfast is great as well. This is definitely the hotel you should consider if you want to visit Kalkan.
Had a fabulous week in Kalkan. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed our breakfast every morning.
It was a bonus having the Turkish spa on site and would recommend that you pay it a visit.
Excellent location in old town. The room was with a balcony with an ocean view plus there is a roof terrace where you can enjoy the view.
The room was big and the owner of the hotel was helpful. I would definitely go back again.
Location, food, the beach, staff of the hotel. The pictures did match with real apartments. I would like to highlight the hospitality of the hotel staff and thank you for a very warm welcome you provided!
The view of this hotel is really amazing. There's also complimentary shuttle boat from hotel to the Kalkan downtown. The garden and infinity pool make the hotel extremely beautiful.
