Sea view is worthy, also near by to juifen old street market. Host is very kind and supportive can speak English, best for foreigners.

The host is a good person, we had some miscommunication and he owned up to his mistake when he realized it. The view is wonderful facing the mountains and ocean. I loved the beds, the bath, and all the floating woods decoration in the room. It was walking distance to the Old Street as well, yet very quiet and peaceful.

Good view of the mountain and sea. Friendly staff and easy check-in. You can walk down to old street in just a few minutes. There was tea and coffee, ponchos for the rain and a fridge and kettle. Good for the price point. De-humidifier was useful and the airco was great on cold nights. Fairly easy to find, just walk to TTOB next to the post office and follow the signs up. The bed is quite hard.

The location was very near the main alley of Jiufen Old Street. If it wasn't raining heavily, the room would offer beautiful vista of the ocean, however it was raining thru out my stay. The bed and pillows were sooooo comfortable, 5 stars for this! The room is also beautifully decorated. The host was also very kind and helped carry my luggage to the bus stop when I checked out. Checking in was also easy, the host already waited in my room to process the check in. The room had everything I needed (an iron would be a plus).

Loved the view from the room, we sat and stared out the windows for hours (though it’s a little awkward when strangers walk past in front). The host (turns out he wrote a very interesting book on parenting!) was also one of the friendliest hosts around, giving us a good overview of things to do in Jiufen and even a tour of how the room was designed with local Hinoki wood.
