We had to change the room fro. The rooftop to the regular double room. The switch was without major issues despite the staff not speaking English. Lady was nice and used Google translator with me. The breakfast was good but small.

Due to health reasons, we arrived to Kenting later than we had planned. It is definitely worth spending a couple of days there. The landscapes are so beautiful and the people and the vibe are so friendly and relaxed. If you are planning to enjoy the beach, I would recommend doing a small research beforehand, as not all beaches are accessible and swimmable due to the national park protection or because some beach areas are reserved for hotel guests.

Kenting was quite busy at night with the night market along the main street. There was a good atmosphere and lots to see and do.
We visited the lighthouse one day using the local bus. We had another day on the beach.
We ate at a local family restaurant in the evening which was frequented by locals. They served vegetarian food and local fish.( I did a Google review of the restaurant the name is in Chinese )

There are two beautiful beached in Kenting Avenue area.
There are two beautiful beached in Kenting Avenue area. Since Kenting Avenue is a commercial night street and quite pricy, not really worthy the price for street food. It's very convenient to take Kenting shuttle bus although it takes some waiting time and there is unfortunately no digital bus arrival announcement.

We wanted to do some hikes, which was possible and quite nice. Unfortunately, for our three days, we could not find as many hikes, as we would have liked to do.
The "volunteer" at the Visitor Center in Kenting was not helpful at all. We specifically asked for hikes (she spoke English), but she was not able to provide us with information, or at least to tell us, that the maps would be available at the respective gates.

It's getting more and more popular and it's getting more polluted too. It's getting to the point that some of the out of the way beaches are absolutely disgusting. A lot of the garbage comes from the ocean but people leave their garbage too-I saw a diaper left behind on one beach. Someone needs to organize a serious beach clean up!

Amazing place to stay in summer!
Amazing place to stay in summer! Nice beaches, amazing views, a lot of places to visit within 30 minutes of driving and one of the most amazing night markets in taiwan. Having a car is definitely the best way to get around.
The hotel is located in an excellent area for travelers walking. 2mins away from the bus stop you'd use to arrive from the Zuoying HSR station, 3 mins away from the beach and on a night market road. The owner was very kind and friendly, and offered breakfast or a beverage even after breakfast hours.
The room was nice with a TV, nice décor and a comfy bed. It's an affordable, lovely location to use during your travels in Kenting. 10/10 would recommend
Very beautiful BnB located in 5 min walking distance to Kenting city center. Some rooms have a balcony, which is perfect for a relaxing breakfast in the morning. Other rooms offer a nice view to the scenic kenting national park.
Vivi is a perfect host. Always helpful, very welcoming. She helped us to organize a snorkeling trip.
We came with our two kids and this was our best hotel on our Taiwan journey so far.
The location is wonderful - there is a beautiful view of Mt. Dajian from the porch. The cabin was a lot bigger than I expected and really comfy. Our hosts were very kind and gifted us some food for the moon festival. Very close to the night market street and bus stop. Really close to the beach, though you can't actually swim on Kenting main beach and need to walk a little further or take some transport.
Perfect for families with young kids. Truly a resort with arcades and game rooms, play areas, etc. Several restaurants to choose from (though not all were open or available). Super easy access to the Kenting Night Market (short walk). Starbucks on site. Easy tunnel access to beach. Pool is very nice and kid friendly. There is a petting zoo with deer that you can feed. Rooms are very spacious and nice.
Very nice rooms: clean and spacious. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed, which not a usual thing in Taiwan;), soft mattress and pillow made my vacation so relaxing and enjoyable! Friendly staff and markers surprised us with fruit treats every day :) The location is also nice: waking distance to the city centre and the beach, but super quiet during the day and night! Highly recommend!
Location was really good, right in the middle of Kenting main street. Rooms were clean and a good size. Toilet and showers were separate and comes with a big bathtub for soaking. Owners were considerate and acceded to my request for lower floor as we had an elderly with us. So, we were given a room just up a short flight of stairs. The owners were friendly and accommodating.
The Staff are all very friendly, helpful and go out of their way to accommodate requests. Staff members all know how to use conversational English and they made our stay quite relaxed.
The hotel is also conveniently located near a very good beach and walking distance from Kenting village while being just far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle.
Location, the big and well-appointed rooms are surprisingly good value for money. It's basically located on the street where the Kenting night market is. There's a scooter rental just next door and the bus stop for the express buses back to Kaoshiung is just 3 minutes walk away at the Kenting Arch stop.
I like it coz it's our own cabin, it's spacious, and it had free parking - we were able to park the car right in front of our cabin. It's very close to the Kenting Street so it's convenient for food and shopping. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. There was free laundry available.
The location and service is fabulous. The decor is whimsical and there is a cool bar for quiet drinks. Walking distance to great street food and eateries. Their attention is impeccable too. We had to leave earlier before the breakfast time, and they sent packed breakfast for us to picnic by the beach.
love the little verandas amongst the pretty gardens with the sound of the waves, plus the swimming pool and spa and hot pool. the night market in town is colourful and good restaurants nearby, plus easy access to the gorgeous National park and interesting short driving tours.
The room is spacious and clean. The beach of Chateau Beach Resort is just on the other side of the road. Kenting night market is also walking distance. This is best location with affordable price. We really enjoyed our stay. Super recommended.
Location = 10! Just 5 mins walk to the Kenting night market
Host = 100% The nicest host i ever came across! Friendly! She even buy us biscuits and dried plum as gift when we checked out.
Extremely close to Kenting night market, convenient to the bus stops and amenities around. Quiet accommodation, away from the bustling street! Very close to the beach too!
