Due to health reasons, we arrived to Kenting later than we had planned. It is definitely worth spending a couple of days there. The landscapes are so beautiful and the people and the vibe are so friendly and relaxed. If you are planning to enjoy the beach, I would recommend doing a small research beforehand, as not all beaches are accessible and swimmable due to the national park protection or because some beach areas are reserved for hotel guests.

Kenting was quite busy at night with the night market along the main street. There was a good atmosphere and lots to see and do.
We visited the lighthouse one day using the local bus. We had another day on the beach.
We ate at a local family restaurant in the evening which was frequented by locals. They served vegetarian food and local fish.( I did a Google review of the restaurant the name is in Chinese )

There are two beautiful beached in Kenting Avenue area. Since Kenting Avenue is a commercial night street and quite pricy, not really worthy the price for street food. It's very convenient to take Kenting shuttle bus although it takes some waiting time and there is unfortunately no digital bus arrival announcement.

We wanted to do some hikes, which was possible and quite nice. Unfortunately, for our three days, we could not find as many hikes, as we would have liked to do.
The "volunteer" at the Visitor Center in Kenting was not helpful at all. We specifically asked for hikes (she spoke English), but she was not able to provide us with information, or at least to tell us, that the maps would be available at the respective gates.

It's getting more and more popular and it's getting more polluted too. It's getting to the point that some of the out of the way beaches are absolutely disgusting. A lot of the garbage comes from the ocean but people leave their garbage too-I saw a diaper left behind on one beach. Someone needs to organize a serious beach clean up!

Amazing place to stay in summer!
Amazing place to stay in summer! Nice beaches, amazing views, a lot of places to visit within 30 minutes of driving and one of the most amazing night markets in taiwan. Having a car is definitely the best way to get around.
We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, right next to Da-Wan Beach and only a 10-minute walk to Xiao-Wan. The room was clean with a king-size bed. The owner offers thoughtful services, including complimentary beverages and ice cream in a spotless common area, as well as towels and a cleaning area on the terrace.
This hotel is a perfect choice for those without a car, as it's easily accessible by public transportation or a short taxi ride to the forest recreation area. Highly recommended!
We liked our large room. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfy. You can’t beat its location (across the street for south bound buses and next door to the northbound buses). And the night market is steps from the hotel.
great value for a big room, well located near Kenting Road, the night market and easy access to the beach and free parking facilities. Staff at the counter was very helpful and provided great guidance about traveling around the area.
Despite the language barrier, the host was very warm and attentive to our needs. The house is very clean and tidy, in a quiet location close to the bus stop, beach and restaurants. We had a relaxing stay in Kenting area!
Owners were so friendly and let us keep 2 bikes in the hotel inside as we cycle Taiwan. Super clean and the views are amazing. Very central location but not on the Main Street which means it’s so quiet. Highly recommend!
"The staff was kind and friendly, and they provided us with some travel recommendations. The location is perfect, right on the main Kenting street. All facilities are excellent, except for a slight bathroom drain odor."
Very clean, modern and comfortable hotel. We have had a double room with view to the mountains, calm and with a window to open.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Beaches, busstation, nightmarket and seven eleven nearby.
Very friendly owner, who greeted us warmly every day.
The room is clean and big, spend a few extra bucks on a room with a window.
The location is the best in Kenting - a very good breakfast place just next to it.
Very friendly staff. Beautiful plants everywhere. Nice room, the hotel feels very new and the furniture is really cute and well chosen.
Kenting night market is very loud but we didn't hear a thing in our room :)
The property seems newly remodeled. the host is very nice and helpful. Very conveniently located, walk to the beach and market street. It is in a quite corner, so they’re is no issue of noises.
The location is great. Right on the main street of Kending and easy to get to the beach. The price is reasonable and the staff is helpful. Overall, the value of the room far outweighs the price.
Beautiful hotel across from the ocean and close to the main street night market and bus service. We had a little balcony looking at the sunsets and moon over the ocean. Very lovely.
Extremely close to Kenting night market, convenient the bus stops and amenities around. Quiet accommodation, away from the bustling street! Very close to the beach too!
Spacious room, comfortable beds, clean, abundant breakfast, wonderful location close to the main food hub on Kenting street and close to Dawan Beach. Wonderful hosts!
