The receptionists extremely good and very helpful If you enjoy more of a tourist and party atmosphere this is probably the place for you I personally prefer the more relaxed atmosphere where the staff are not so ‘on top’ of you I booked 2 suits unfortunately one was on top of the bar and kitchen so it was quite noisy until midnight The second suit was bottom floor access to the beach but the beach beds were full of clothes just dumped there When I mentioned it I was told that it was ok Not really very good for 2 suits for 500€ a day Needless to say the next day we changed hotels to a more relaxed one more to my liking Not to say that the hotel was bad just not for me

Paje is more chill and relaxing than in the north. Best place for kite surfing. The tide can influence the possibility of swimming therefore if you want beach/sun/swimming you better choose north, Kendwa.

Pajde is a small village, BUT you can find everything there.
Pajde is a small village, BUT you can find everything there. ATM, bars, beach kitesurf mostly. If you want to party all night then it might not be your place. If you love watersports and laid-back people then you are in the right spot. Visited Nungwi, but preferred Paje.

On our first day in Paje, the winds were quite strong, making it less suitable for leisure. Most of the local activities centered around kite surfing. So, if you're hoping for calm beachside strolls, Nungwi in the north is a better choice. Additionally, the tidal patterns here differ from what we're used to in the Northern Hemisphere. The tide comes in during the day and recedes in the evening. We once found ourselves stranded on the beach due to the swift rise in tide. It's something to be mindful of if visiting.Azure YangChina

The staff are really accommodating and helpful. The room was large, comfortable, and well equipped. They have a really nice and big pool as a relief from the ocean salt. Breakfast in the morning was varied and plentiful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I was a little sad to leave, but I will definitely be back.

There were mosquito nets above every bed and window. There were 2 nice clean pools in front of the rooms, good sun loungers by the pool and on the beach. The staff were very attentive, friendly and always with a smile. The restaurant and bar in front of the hotel had fantastic food! Good coffee, fresh juices and all food was freshly prepared and delicious. We stayed at 2 other accommodations in Zanzibar but this one was by far the best!

Room neat and clean, air conditioning, usb plugs, large bathroom with cosmetics, luggage room. For 4 people the room was not big but it is important that the bathroom is very comfortable and large. Rich breakfasts for Zanzibar, you can order several dishes at once, e.g. omelette and pancakes. Water dispenser, tea and coffee and cookies available. pool large and clean. It was actually the cheapest hotel we booked on our trip to Zanzibar, and it turned out to be the best one we stayed in. The room was daily cleaned, the staff was super friendly, the food was spectacular (and cheap compared to other places we stayed at). The hotel itself was outside of Paje (30 minutes beach walk) so it was very peaceful and quiet, the pool was really nice with the beach view. For this price it was absolutely the best hotel ever:)

The bed was mega comfortable and soft, everything is exactly as in the pictures. The bathroom is very beautiful and awesome mirror is on the wall 😄 They have their own monkey and the child had a lot of fun playing with him. The hotel is located on the beach, so the beach is 1 minute away. I highly recommend going there 🤩
