Breakfast was good, location great, loved the relaxed easy going atmosphere, cocktails were amazing, definitely ask for the seafood bbq.

Breakfast was yummy. The staff made alot of effort to accomodate my friend who has recently been forced to a Gluten Free diet. The location is great, RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Property is well maintained, neat and clean. Bar staff was super friendly and accomodating as well as the Managers. Especially with any special requests trying to make our stay as good as possible. The property is tucked away in this beautiful dreamy village of jambiani. It overlooks the inviting ocean and soft white sand beach. It offers a sense of calm the moment you set foot and genuine hospitality embraces you. Shona and Ish are the hosts who we called family during our stay and their unpretentious care, concern and conversations drew us in instantaneously. The property is carefully cured to blend with its rustic surroundings. The onsite food was delicious with good portions compared to what we ate while in nungwi restaurants(before arriving in jambiani). The staff on site are intrinsically motivated and always have a smile on their faces and eager to please whenever needed. we slept with our doors open and that tells a lot about how safe we felt at all times. We arranged for our activities through the property and benefitted from hassle free, well priced, memorable and safe experience on the sea.

The moment we arrived it felt like a home far away from home. Excellent staff with time for a joke. Managers Shonna and Ismael were absolute legends. There’s seriously nothing to complain. The location is beautiful and the entire place has a great relaxing vibe. The pool is gorgeous, the view is stunning, the food is very good and the cocktails even better. The staff is great and the owners, Kerry and Brady are fun, friendly and very helpful. They all made us feel at home, among friends. This was definitely our favourite stay in the entire vacation.

The place is a little paradise on earth! We spent our last 2 nights in Zanzibar there. The weather in Jambiani is amazing (less wind than Paje which is 6km away). Staff is very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is awesome. A big thanks to the very kind managing couple at Driftwood.

We spent lovely 7 days in Driftwood! The staff are very kind, the hosts are easy to communicate with, the food is delicious, and the whole place is like a little paradise. We especially enjoyed the front view on the lovely beach, the pool and the bar. Also, it is in several minutes walking distance to several other bars and restaurants.

From our arrival to our departure, the staff did everything to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The beach is incredible and just a few steps away from the room, the bar area and pool. A great variety to choose from on the menu -I recommend the Tropical pizza. On a couple of occasions, we were also treated with jumbo prawn on the bbq.
