I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water.

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest.

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. All the facilities (gym, massage, sports activities) + excellent food at a reasonable cost. And Fatma the day manager was great. A wonderful person and soul

We went to the Zan View Beach Bar most nights for happy hour and dinner. The beach has much more of a relaxed feel than Nungwi, which seemed more like a place for young people to get drunk whereas Kiwengwa was more families and laid-back properties.

The accomodation is on the beautiful beach. At night we could sleep with the waves sound. When you wake up and open the door, you can see amazinig view. There is possibility of swimming too. If you would like to go to sea during the low tide you can rent a water-shoes from the hotel. Girls cleaned the accommodation every day. Staff is so friendly and always willing to help. We could relax and read on the sunbed. We fond of the food in the hotel's restaurant. It was beautiful time during our 5 days in Kiwengwa.

Zan View in my opinion is outstanding, because of its management & staff team, its authentic interior design and cleanliness and its location. In Zanzibar people are super friendly in general, friendliness and service-orientation of the whole team was exceptional and far above expectation (am travelling to Zanzibar since 2008). Located on top of a small hill, with stairways down to Kairo village and the hotels private beach stretch,it is a georgeous combination of hotel privacy and local village.

Location is fantastic with direct access to the beach, the staff was amazing, I felt being part of a family and not staying in a hotel. They had an answer to all of my requirements, extremely kind, helpful, supportive and patient. Good fun and conversations. Food at the hotel restaurant is excellent, some of the best dishes I tried in Zanzibar. I can’t wait to be back in this location and enjoy everything once again. Thank you for making my holiday in Zanzibar simply unforgettable.

We had the best time at Z-Lodge as a family! Loved the location the most - it was quiet and super chilled with an amazing view over the ocean. The staff made us feel welcomed and organized some sightseeing trips which made our experience unforgettable. Separate kudos for the cuisine - dishes from the hotel’s restaurant were yummy with a great quality for the price! I’d definitely recommend this place for the families and couples for a relaxed holiday ☀️ Zanzibar is a treasure!

I think it is the first time that I give a hotel 10/10 and full in every category. This little boutique beach hotel is a hidden paradise in Kiwenga on the east coast of Sansibar. The owners are very friendly, make everything possible and created their own little home. There are only a few rooms, so it is very exclusive. Breakfast was a selection of different elements and it was delicious. So, if you want to leave the stress behind and simply relax: go for Boho Boutique.

Unlike most other resorts this one is right on the beach, there is no barrier between you and the ocean. And since it’s a small place the beach vendors (who are everywhere on every beach in Zanzibar) tend to focus on the beach stretches of the bigger resorts. This is a huge advantage. Food is great, staff is friendly and welcoming. Walking up and down the beach it was super evident that this is the best place for kilometers both up and down the beach.

Great hotel on the beautiful island of Zanzibar, with an amazing team of staff throughout. Clean, spacious rooms, delicious food, and lovely pool & bar area. Also had a relaxing spa visit and chance to hear talented musicians in the evenings. I felt really looked after and safe as a solo traveller, would definitely recommend to others and looking forward to visiting again in the future

best hotel/resort I’ve stayed in, staff soo friendly and professional. they think of everything. It was summed up by our final night on this Zanzibar trip, we were the last people having dinner at the Jetty restaurant, one of the staff members on the golf buggy knew somehow we were the last and drove to meet us, it saved my wife a long walk in her heels.

I was upgraded to a bigger room and I had my own outside seating area. Excellent and plenty of choices of food for breakfast. The restaurant also served delicious lunch and dinner. The location was safe and quiet. Security on property. Friendly owners and staff. The back up generator really helped when the whole Zanzibar lost power for several hours.

Our stay at kiwengwa beach resort was wonderful. The complete staff (Stela from the reception) is very friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent with a lot of choice. Every day there are various activities so the time flies by. The rooms had a wonderful view of the Indian Ocean. The spa center is excellent. All in all, warm recommendations.
