I was reading and collecting some information about city securities, I think they are over exaggerating, only if you follow the roles, and security measure. However, people of Kampala are so kind and helpful, you don't realize that till you get to know the people and culture. I will never forget such a wonderful place and people. I wish I come back there one day.

I loved Uganda , Kampala a busy city I was surprised how developed the country is, the roads are outstanding puts the UK roads to shame . people were friendly and so respectful , so much to see the Kampala tour was so interesting learned so much about Uganda there is so much to see you have to plan in advance so you can take in everything . 10 days was too short I will definitely visit again this year .

I liked the cost of food quite cheap.
I liked the cost of food quite cheap. Wonderful and hospitable people. Good WiFi connection and almost stable power and water supply in the region I stayed in. The weather although is cloudy and rainy mostly but it feels hot and sweat every time I go out. The roads are clean but a lot of breaks and holes needed maintenance. I loved the motorbike transport system “Boda” as the most convenient way considering the roads nature but they are just too many, and very risky. I hope if they abide by the traffic light rules similar to cars. Quality budget hotels and apartments few options and more expensive compared to Nairobi. It definitely worth the visit but needs careful planning.

I only stayed one night and most of the day I caught up on my sleep after a long flight. The hotel was fabulous as there was three different restaurants to eat, one had live music (Jazz) and the other was showing a rugby match which was enough to entertain me for the duration of my stay.

Convenient location, paved roads, developed suburbs.
Convenient location, paved roads, developed suburbs. I watched how the seven hills rolls into each other, the Kasubi Tombs are close. I ate most of the time at a great plane, Trinity Resort Hotel in Najeera. Getting around was quite easy with Uber and bodaboda.
If you are alone, enjoy several theatres and the Uganda Museum.

Kampala has its top end places and bottom end places.
Kampala has its top end places and bottom end places. Food is very fresh and tasty. Don’t use cars at busy hours, use bodaboda motor cycles.Don’t drive small cars when it rains, storms fill roads as the drains don’t work
Yushili service, staff, professionalism and cleanliness is the top standard. The rooms were gorgeous and felt very upmarket. The food and wine is really delicious with a broad menu with tawainese and local delicacy. The vibe in the hotel is very hip and cool and you feel like you could be nestled anywhere in the world. As a girl travelling to Kampala for the first time it was a haven for me where the staff were so helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend coming here when you come to Kampala for a beautiful and enriching experience.
I would love to write a review for this home. Yes, it was like at home, and not in a hotel, I felt myself there. The host Emmanuel went above and beyond! Very warm and friendly attitude. The house is located near a large shopping center, streets with restaurants and bars, but the house itself is very quiet, it is comfortable to sleep. The house has a cozy green area. Clean comfortable rooms. In addition, the low price for accommodation, I think makes it one of the best options for staying in Kampala. Thanks for everything, Emmanuel!
One of the pearls of Kampala. 22 years since I visited the hotel I was back to stay for 5 nights. The personnel are friendly and service minded and the facilities are clean. I really appreciate that they can tidy up suits, iron shirts and polish shoes. As I was attending a wedding I held that in high regard. I would also like to compliment the variety of shops at the hotel, which allow you to purschase items from high end to casual, clothes, souvenirs etc. There is also a tourist information center at the same premises.
The location was fantastic. It was in an upscale area of town and it felt very safe. There were many chic restaurants nearby, including the hotel's own restaurant. We loved the breakfast buffet, which had lots of interesting options (including samosas!). The rooms were very comfortable and I liked how all of the rooms faced into a courtyard. It felt like an oasis in the middle of the city. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again the next time that I come to Kampala!
The view from the rooms on the back of the hotel was unbeatable. Lush, green and as a bonus is was perfectly quiet day and night. The breakfast area also overlooked the golf course so it was a stunning and peaceful way to start the day, in addition to the fact that the breakfast itself was the best we had during our three weeks in the country: excellent selection, freshly brewed coffee, egg station, non - repetitive offerings. The hotel location is unbeatable - steps from Carrefour, exchanges and CJs.
I started this trip being extremely stressed, but Acacia Villa and its amazing staff made me feel so at home I was actually able to enjoy my trip. The staff are the absolute best! They are extremely competent and knowledgeable as well as friendly and kind. They really made me feel at home and I didn't have to worry about anything. The breakfasts were delicious and it was so nice to eat breakfast while taking in a beautiful view of Kampala. I couldn't recommend a place more!
The staff are proactive, friendly ,helpful and polite
in terms of cleanliness all areas in the hotel are spotlessly clean, the view of Kampala at night is beautiful and they have ample basement parking. bathrooms are very nice with rain drop showers and they also go the extra mile and provide complimentary basic amenities like tooth brush, paste , shower gel, shampoo, etc which in my situation turned out to be very useful saving me the hassle of going to buy toiletries.
The hotel is in a very quiet place near the Victoria lake, exacltly in the south est of Kampala. You have to be careful because there’re two places with the same name in google maps. The house is huge, it have a lot of diferents room, swimming pool and a big garden. The owners are a very good persons and attentive, they took care of us like a childs. We really felt like home. We want to come back again.
This is now my favorite hotel in Kampala (having stayed at a couple of others over the years.) The staff was extraordinarily warm and friendly, and our room could not have been more comfortable. We ate from the Indian side of the menu for both lunch and dinner, and everything we tasted was delicious. We also appreciated how close the hotel is to the spiffy Acacia shopping mall — just a few short blocks.
Breakfast was superb- lots of choice and fresh fruit and yoghurt serves alongside it. I arrived late and night and not feeling very well and the staff were so accommodating and very kind. They looked after me well and I'm really grateful for that. The hotel is in a quiet location but easy to get to from Kampala and the airport. Pool is also great.
The hotel is located in a very central location of Kampala, very close to some shopping malls. Yet it is next to the golf course so if your room is on the golf course side, it is so quiet and peaceful and you won't believe you are in Kampala! The rooms are very big and clean.
Amazing staff made this stay. They are really proud of the hotel and rightfully so. Fantastic value. Sunday live music is a plus. Great views of Kampala and well above the pollution level. Go after January and the roads will be transformed. We’ll be back
I liked the proximity to down town, watoto church, shops, restaurants and forex bureaus. Before you get inside the hotel itself, you pass through a mall but the good thing is that the hotel is kinda sound proof
Staff is the asset in this hotel. They are very customer oriented and courteous.

I always stay in Protea by Marriott in Kampala when I can afford it.
Staff were all so helpful. Restaurant food was excellent. Hotel driver was extremely helpful taking me round expertly to meetings all across Kampala. All staff very prompt with service and friendly.
Staff have best attitude ever. Hotel lovely all over. Everyone very eager to help at the drop of a hat. Excellent food! All round by far the best value anywhere in Kampala, in my opinion.
This is a delightful hotel in a great location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food at the Asian Fusion restaurant is to die for. I'd gladly stay here again in Kampala.
Ok business-like hotel in downtown Kampala
- great location within walking distance to everything
- room adequate though not great
- good restaurant w/nice terrace seating
