I was reading and collecting some information about city securities, I think they are over exaggerating, only if you follow the roles, and security measure. However, people of Kampala are so kind and helpful, you don't realize that till you get to know the people and culture. I will never forget such a wonderful place and people. I wish I come back there one day.

I loved Uganda , Kampala a busy city I was surprised how developed the country is, the roads are outstanding puts the UK roads to shame . people were friendly and so respectful , so much to see the Kampala tour was so interesting learned so much about Uganda there is so much to see you have to plan in advance so you can take in everything . 10 days was too short I will definitely visit again this year .

I liked the cost of food quite cheap.
I liked the cost of food quite cheap. Wonderful and hospitable people. Good WiFi connection and almost stable power and water supply in the region I stayed in. The weather although is cloudy and rainy mostly but it feels hot and sweat every time I go out. The roads are clean but a lot of breaks and holes needed maintenance. I loved the motorbike transport system “Boda” as the most convenient way considering the roads nature but they are just too many, and very risky. I hope if they abide by the traffic light rules similar to cars. Quality budget hotels and apartments few options and more expensive compared to Nairobi. It definitely worth the visit but needs careful planning.

I only stayed one night and most of the day I caught up on my sleep after a long flight. The hotel was fabulous as there was three different restaurants to eat, one had live music (Jazz) and the other was showing a rugby match which was enough to entertain me for the duration of my stay.

Convenient location, paved roads, developed suburbs.
Convenient location, paved roads, developed suburbs. I watched how the seven hills rolls into each other, the Kasubi Tombs are close. I ate most of the time at a great plane, Trinity Resort Hotel in Najeera. Getting around was quite easy with Uber and bodaboda.
If you are alone, enjoy several theatres and the Uganda Museum.

Kampala has its top end places and bottom end places.
Kampala has its top end places and bottom end places. Food is very fresh and tasty. Don’t use cars at busy hours, use bodaboda motor cycles.Don’t drive small cars when it rains, storms fill roads as the drains don’t work
TKS place is very clean, it’s a new facility, with excellent customer care. Mr Brandon the property owner is excellent, and I can assure any visitors to expect the best at TKS place. I will definitely come back in the future to this place and refer my friends to TKS place.
The apartment is located in a wonderful quite area, and very nice for family vacation or single travelers. It has a well equipped kitchen, warm water, DSTV, etc. All who are reading this review, consider making TKS place while you are visiting Kampala
Incredible staff, sincerely helpful and have an eye for detail. They were very understanding of requests and demands even during night or early morning hours. The pool is cleaned every day. The wifi was amazing compared to the rest of Uganda. Super comfortable settings and very calm silent area, at the perfect location of Bugolobi, within a walking distance of a shopping mall and only 2 minutes walk some of the cities best bups and cafes at Bandali Rise.
Fred-Winnie BnB was without doubt our best stay in Uganda. Comfortable bed, spotless clean, big and luxury bathroom with good hot water and fantastic breakfast. It feels more like a 5star hotel than a local guesthouse. Very kind staff. Nice garden and safe parking included. Room has television good WiFi and even Netflix. There is a big kitchen for the guests with anything you need. Will never look into other places again when staying in Kampala.
The place offers an excellent value for money. The staff members are really well-trained and at a very high-level (equivalent to the best hotels in Europe). The breakfast was great and with a lot of options (though the bread is not super high-quality). The restaurants and bars offer a very high-quality food (with also excellent cocktails) for quite reasonable prices. The fitness center is also very good and well-maintained.
This is now my favorite hotel in Kampala (having stayed at a couple of others over the years.) The staff was extraordinarily warm and friendly, and our room could not have been more comfortable. We ate from the Indian side of the menu for both lunch and dinner, and everything we tasted was delicious. We also appreciated how close the hotel is to the spiffy Acacia shopping mall — just a few short blocks.
Absolutely beautiful place
The decor is stunning and a relaxed atmosphere
The staff are so caring and helpful from reception to room staff
2 pools a private cinema lovely lounge areas all over the hotel
Ivan kizzan the waiter is a real credit to the hotel and made are stay so special
I stayed in there superior room for 4 nights then a suite looking over the pool for 7 nights totally amazing
The hotel grounds are a garden sanctuary in the heart of Kampala! The on-site restaurant served great meals - I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner and didn't have a single bad meal. The staff were all courteous too. When I accidentally knocked over my glass on the table, the staff quickly rushed to help clean up the mess and pick up the glass. The rest of the staff were all friendly too.
The best place to stay in Kampala. We always stay here when we travel through Uganda with students for a school project. The staff is amazing and really helpfull! They have great food and also good breakfast choices. The rooms are clean as well as the shared toilets and showers. The hotel has a guard at the gate which makes us feel safe.
wow, The best apartment I ever stay in Kampala. the apartment is in a secure and quiet location. The apartment had everything you might need for a perfect stay. The wifi is so fast, the kitchen is well equipped, nice balcony, Joseph is always available to any requests. I had a place to stay anytime I’m in Kampala. I will surely be back.
The area of Muyenga Tank Hill is very safe to walk, a lot of green, and lovely people. With swimming pools, quiz nights, and a bustling Muyenga Rd around, it falls nothing short of the perfect location for your stay in Kampala.
The staff at Kampala Forest Resort is attentive, very helpful and makes you feel so welcomed.
Location is excellent for the price. It the best location in Kampala due to the excellent and clean neighborhood. I'd say amongst the best secure location in Kampala for those concerned.
It also has Nice view of The lake Victoria 😊
Spacious clean rooms 👍👌
I am a regular at the Speke. Such a lovely hotel with great ambience. Food good. Staff so helpful. Due to circumstances we had to stay an extra night and that was kindly arranged by the hotel. Very good value in the centre of Kampala
The room was nice, cosy, and functional. The personnel, in general, very attentive and pleasant. The hotel is arranged in sich a way to have a lot of green, both inside and outside. Ample choice of food. The restaurants were nice.
This is the most unique beautiful hotels in Kampala. You feel like you just stepped onto the streets of France when the noice and bustle of Kampala is literally steps away. We love this place!
Staff have best attitude ever. Hotel lovely all over. Everyone very eager to help at the drop of a hat. Excellent food! All round by far the best value anywhere in Kampala, in my opinion.
The location - close to restaurants, shops, yet it is very quiet with a nice view of the golf course. The rooms are bigger than hotels I've stayed in Kampala.
Great breakfast and friendly staff. Other reviewers say the nearby clubs are loud. I was at the hotel for over a week, and did not notice any club noise.
