The beach was great. The surfers were there early doing their thing. The kids could get in the water and use the boogie boards. They had a good time. We had a nice bbq and enjoyed the patio. The house was nice. We would avoid that house because its party city for the local teens. The beach does not close for them. They holler and make noise until 3:00am or later.

I was in Newport for work and stayed here because the Travelodge I had reserved (because it was less expensive) turned out to be a crack house. For the money, this place is too old. The "bath towels" are the worst of the worst. For the money, you're right on the fringe. Clean, but not clean enough. Old shower, old shower head, old floor tile. But the King bed was surprisingly firm. Good fridge, micro and TV. Decent amount of space. The place has the vibe of a dump without being a dump. There's a need to upgrade the bathroom and showers.

I would never stay here again!!
I would never stay here again!! No elevator so we had to walk upstairs and even the metal railing was very awkward!! No help with directing to our room which was down the outside walkway in the rain .. the room was cold and all the windows were left open so it was damp too .. the noise coming from a compressor or something was like a helicopter over the room all night long so neither of us slept !! The bed was so hard we both got stiff and I call them hot spots were your hip bone aches !! I heard other rooms flushing toilets or running water 🚿!!! It was our worst ever experience renting w bookings !! I’m asking for a refund or credit towards my next stay at I hope a nice hotel!!

Very nice, my wife and I went there to relax and take a break from work. We walked on the boardwalk and looked in the shops (there is an ice cream shop that has handmade ice cream which is wonderful), we sat on the beach and listened to the waves. There is a Mexican restaurant across from the inn that is very good and there is an Italian restaurant called "Mama D's" that is easily the best Italian food. There is a tattoo shop "Newport tattoo" that does very good work, and of course, several surf shops. We also went up to the Disney district to get some souvenirs’ for people we work with and have lunch at "Tortilla Joes" which is very good.

Sounder hotels are awful. They treat there customers badly.
If you have a problem, they tell you to contact
Booking.com Then booking.com tells you to contact Sonder hotels. They go back and forth to no end. Without any resolution.

There are so many fun things to do here.
There are so many fun things to do here. You have some of the best upscale shopping in OC. You also have a wide variety of small boutiques and gift shops. There are all kinds of water sports. I love the fishing or whale watching tours. You can rent small boats, kayaks, paddleboards.
The possibilities are endless.
The biggest problem with the hotel is the location. It's good that it's very close to the beach, restaurants, bars and harbour. But the hotel is surrounded on all sides by busy roads you are a few feet from the road no matter what room you are in & the traffic noise is really bad. The room was small & the floor was covered in little ants especially in the bathroom they were crawling up the toilet.
Excellent location, it was literally a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach at Newport. There is a road to cross but it has a pedestrian crossing so it's easy and safe. The hotel provides towels, chairs, body boards and umbrella's for the beach with no extra costs.
The rooms are a little old but very well maintained and spotlessly clean.
Overall exceptional value for money.
Grieved about the parking. My room was tucked away towards the very back of the building. It’s like “we’re going to put you way back here since you only paid x amount of dollars”. And then when you get to the hotel, there’s a n added $30 fee then $75 for parking. I would’ve been better off paying more for having these amenities
The hotel was clean, there was a good breakfast(scrambled eggs, cheese omelettes, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, sausage, pancakes) and the location was good. We went to see the Newport Beach Christmas boat parade that was about a two mile walk from the hotel. Fashion Island is also close by. The 12 noon check out time was nice.
Great location right on the bay, friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, fun bar/restaurant on site. Lots of recreational choices close by that you can plan on your own or with the help of the hotel concierge. We will go back for sure!
The staff is super friendly. I really loved the look of the hotel--it's updated with a modern minimal design and splashes of color. Our room was standard fare, clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Overall a lovely hotel.
The room was spacious. What I like the most was the bathroom. It was huge compared to other hotels that I stayed at. I was so surprised that the room has a full size refrigerator. I love it but I did not use it at all.
We arrived on the 4th July holiday weekend where there were people everywhere. Front of house staff Sam and Eric were so helpful and walked us through everything we needed which made our stay very enjoyable.
Loved everything didn't go to the pool due to the weather but hope to return just for the pool
The location was on jamboree Newport Beach very nice and peaceful 😊, I really enjoyed my mother's day here
Great spot in Newport Beach. Service Level great. Breakfast quality outstanding. Sleeping comfy. Room spacious. Staff super friendly. Bicycle rental easy. Pool area clean and water quality perfect.
Antique hotel was super cute comfortable cozy. Staff was great. And in the middle of everything what more could you want? Very ritzy clean. We really enjoyed staying there.
The hotel was beautiful. Staff was professional but friendly too. Service was exceptional. Quiet & peaceful to relax. Many restaurants & Marina close by… We loved it!
