The Denver airport is the size of a city.

The Denver airport is the size of a city. It’s very difficult to get from one place to another. Not traveler friendly There are not enough signs to direct you to check in , security offers two places to choose from . But is not on your boarding ticket South west flight arrived too late for my connection. They booked me the next morning. They refused to let me check a 50lb bag refused 3 times to help me find a hotel? I was left on my own. 3 agents said they did not Know of hotels. BUT later discovered there’s a Westin at the airport I stayed there.i am 75. And Southwest left me to sleep in a chair at their counter with my bag There were No electric in sight to charge my phone.

I had heard about Denver for so long, and was so excited to go. We did take one day-trip out for hiking ( trail, which I highly recommend) but Denver overall was a big disappointment. The smell of marijuana everywhere. So much traffic - travel time between locations was unpredictable. Downtown was scary!

There is a ton to do.

There is a ton to do. While 16th Street is really torn-up with construction, there is still a vibrance in Downtown that was really enjoyable. Sure, there are a few houseless individuals, as with most larger cities, but the area from the stadium to the Civic Center seemed safe enough for the thoughtful traveler.

Hotel hell. Do not stay here!!

Hotel hell. Do not stay here!! Our first room had shattered window. The second room someone was in there already. Couldn't check in till after 9pm because the office was closed for a break. The third room was filthy. The kitchen stove was sitting on the counter because it didn't fit in the space with live wires. Holes in the walls. People pee in the hallways and corridor walls. Smelled so bad. The ma nager went and changed our reservation to check out 3 days early so they could get the deposit I paid for..adding extra 100 dollars. Got it resolved but the keys were disconnected and we were locked out for 2 days. Office was never open during this time to get new keys. We had to break in. A man overdosed on Fentanyl and died. Cops there all the time. Multiple times a day. Prostitution active. Laundry room was covered in glass. Horrid experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Like much of America lately, homeless vagrants everywhere.

Like much of America lately, homeless vagrants everywhere. Boarded up businesses in downtown. If you visit, go out of town: Boulder, Golden, etc. --- get out of downtown Denver and you'll have a more enjoyable vacation. EXCEPTIONS (nice places to go): - Performing Arts Centre (Operahouse) - Stanley Marketplace (wonderful indoor mall to shop/eat at)

Room was a good size and very clean. Good view of the city. Good sized car park. Thought it was closer to the airport than it actually was but that was our fault not the hotel's. We only stayed one night before the start of our road trip. At the end of our road trip and back in Denver, we were stuck for getting to the airport and we had no mobile data, so the hotel receptionist allowed me to use their wi-fi to book a taxi even though we were no longer staying there, which I thought was great customer service.

It is attractive and the room was nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They let me store my bags there for half a day after I checked out. They have a shuttle that picks you up from the light-rail station. So you can take the train from the airport to the station nearest the hotel, and the shuttle will take you to the hotel. Close enough to downtown Denver that Lyft rides are not too expensive, or you can take the light rail. I would stay here again.

Hotel location is 1 block off popular 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver and next to Convention Center. My 20th floor King room was clean and spacious. Front Desk Staff (especially Roger) were friendly and welcoming, as were the bellhops and valets. The lobby is spacious and beautifully decorated. Due to COVID, daily housekeeping isn't provided but it was clearly communicated if I needed anything, all it would take is a phone call.

SpringHill Suites is just the best hotel in Denver. If you have to travel to that city, there is no alternative. It is clear, rooms are spacious and super clean. Manager is attentive, friendly and super nice. Employees are as well. Location is ideal for trips to Red Rocks, Empower Field, it also is just some blocks away from Union Station and MSU. The room was nice, though it was poorly maintained. The housekeeping staff only came one day, and we were out of tissues and conditioner for most of our stay. It was great having a kitchenette to prepare our own food (since the hotel’s breakfast options were very disappointing). We enjoyed having a nice view of downtown Denver and being within walking distance of many downtown attractions.

The rooms are comfortable and have a mini kitchenette with fridge, microwave, basic cookware and a sink.

When I got to my room it was 78 degrees. I like to sleep at 70 degrees. After setting the thermostat at 65 to try and cool down my room. It was still 75 degrees when I left. Unacceptable. I have stayed at many hotels in Denver and Colorado Springs. I will never stay with this hotel again. And will make sure everyone I meet in and around Colorado. Knows not to stay there too.

The hotel is brand new and close to the Denver International Airport. The room was large with two comfortable beds. Internet was good. The best thing about the location was there was a new brewery across the parking lot which was filled with well-satisfied beer drinkers. I took a "double" can of IPA back to the room which was delicious.
