Quaint little coastal town-not a lot to do, we planned to be there three nights, four days but left early on day three. Lincoln City was a nice meeting point for extended family, some of us traveling from northern California and others from central and eastern Oregon. After 6 pm or so, the only thing to do is lose money at the casino. Beautiful beaches, cute shops, and yummy bakery in town. The outlet mall was a fun stop but most people can shop at home, don't need a vacation to necessarily do that.

Some in our group loved going to the casino.
Some in our group loved going to the casino. I just like staying at the beach house and enjoyed the beach itself. Nelscott is a perfect spot for rocking hunting at low tide. When it rained, I just enjoyed the view. Very busy for us since our family includes 5 young grandchildren. Went to Regatta Park on the way home and they LOVED this huge playground. Highly recommend!

LC offers a lot of beaches with good beach access, a casino, lots of restaurant options, hotels, an outlet mall, and other unique shopping options. There are several restaurants in the area with beach/ocean views. Traffic can get a little hectic during high tourist times.

the Roads End beach listed is more than a mile and a half from the hotel..the best bet is to just walk down 1/3-1/2 miles behind the hotel through the neighborhood, along the way is a little park called Connie Hansen botanical garden..then continue down 34th street past Connie Hansen and there is a beach access to get you right on the beach..from there you can walk the 1 1/2 miles of the beach to get to Roads End/God's Thumb area
I loved the room. I requested to be on 3rd floor. They gave me a great room on 3rd floor. My room was right next to the elevator. but I don't remember hearing it or it bothering me once. The pool is awesome, the spa was wonderful and the staff were pretty friendly. The beds were very comfortable. My husband and I stayed and it is a wonderful hotel for a short weekend getaway for the weekend. Love love love. highly recommend for hotels in lincoln city, OR. Rooms where super clean.
The room had an amazing view of the beach. Loved that we were just a few steps away from walking on the beach.
The room was spacious and clean. Good value! We appreciated the heated toilet seat and the bidet.
We also appreciate the accommodations for pets such as towels to wipe the sand and seawater from your dog.
Note that they have a weight limit for dogs (less than 60 lbs) and that certain breeds are not allowed on premises, so check with the hotel before you book.
Love the outdoor fireplaces and sectioned off sand. Pet friendly. First time I had a mini bar in my room, that was cool. The hotel staff were all very nice, as well. They had a fantastic selection of FREE DVDs, allowing 2 at a time. Coho also hosts smart tvs so you can do Netflix and such instead if you're inclined! The breakfast was alright, nothing to write home about. Feather pillows as well
The location was great oceanfront. I booked a hot tub room because evidently I called the wrong hotel that told me they were remodeling the swimming pool and hot tub room but when myself and my daughter arrived we realized that the swimming pool and hot tub room were open. I thought the hot tub in the room was nice, but I would have booked for an intimate trip with someone such as a partner.
You can hear the ocean from the hotel room .
You can possibly see whales from your balcony .
We did .
So nice to sit in the jacuzzi tub next to the window and see and hear the ocean .
Two thumbs up ..
Also I think the price was reasonable for what you get .
The ocean was enough .
We were there for three days and never turned the tv on once ..
Perfect breakfast, and the staff helping there was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean, and the cleaning process what we saw happening was very intense. Extra's like fitness room and swimming pool (all free) we did not use. Very pleasant the back entry (access with room card)
We live siletz bay, so much we came back second year in a row and this time we brought 3 more families with us. I like they serve breakfast, I love how close to the beach it is, I love that our kids can play outside the hotel on the beach and not be worried the big waves will get them.
The king suite room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The soaker tub and the shower were incredible. The hotel is right on the beach with easy access to the sand, and the balcony was perfect for watching the sunsets.
The unit had a rat. After a Stern conversation with assistant manager, we were booked and his sister hotel for one night. We were told we would have to find another place, even though we had booked two nights at the D Sands.
Every thing was above expectation! First time staying at a doggie hotel and I was very pleased with the facility! Will definitely recommend you to all friends and family with or without pets.
2nd time staying at Sea Gypsy. Enjoyed this trip as much as the 1st. Will definately be back. Condo was perfect. Cute little kitchen, right on the beach, and you can NOT beat the ocean views.
Location was great right on the beach though it was too misty to appreciate. Room was good size with excellent facilities. Bed comfortable and slept well
