There is a ton to do. While 16th Street is really torn-up with construction, there is still a vibrance in Downtown that was really enjoyable. Sure, there are a few houseless individuals, as with most larger cities, but the area from the stadium to the Civic Center seemed safe enough for the thoughtful traveler.

Hotel hell. Do not stay here!!
Hotel hell. Do not stay here!! Our first room had shattered window. The second room someone was in there already. Couldn't check in till after 9pm because the office was closed for a break. The third room was filthy. The kitchen stove was sitting on the counter because it didn't fit in the space with live wires. Holes in the walls. People pee in the hallways and corridor walls. Smelled so bad. The ma nager went and changed our reservation to check out 3 days early so they could get the deposit I paid for..adding extra 100 dollars. Got it resolved but the keys were disconnected and we were locked out for 2 days. Office was never open during this time to get new keys. We had to break in. A man overdosed on Fentanyl and died. Cops there all the time. Multiple times a day. Prostitution active. Laundry room was covered in glass. Horrid experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Like much of America lately, homeless vagrants everywhere.
Like much of America lately, homeless vagrants everywhere. Boarded up businesses in downtown. If you visit, go out of town: Boulder, Golden, etc. --- get out of downtown Denver and you'll have a more enjoyable vacation.
EXCEPTIONS (nice places to go):
- Performing Arts Centre (Operahouse)
- Stanley Marketplace (wonderful indoor mall to shop/eat at)

Plenty of homeless people walking around… very uncomfortable feeling…. I would avoid visiting Denver at all costs during my next trip! They have very little different than other major cities, same shops, same restaurants (except for a few)… pro baseball, pro basketball, pro football… no big deal…. Aquarium just all other major cities, zoo ditto…. Denver’s main attraction is their airport that helps get you to the mountains to snow ski, NOTHING ELSE!!!! YES WE SAW RED ROCKS!!! The BEST PART OF OUR VISIT TO DENVER WAS SPENDING TIME WITH HIGH SHOOL FRIENDS AND COLLEGE FRIENDS THAT LIVE CLOSE BY DENVER!!!!!

My son has never been to Denver so for his 20th birthday we came here for a few days! He kept saying he loved the vibe in this great city! We stayed in the union station area. The location is beautiful filled with great restaurants, art galleries and shopping!
It had a lot of extras included. Washer and dryer, fresh made cookies and some water with snacks. It was cozy in the fact it was big enough to move around and feel at home and not too big to get overwhelmed. Met the owners by chance and they were a lovely couple. WiFi was fast and you had all the amenities of a hotel room. The location was close to downtown Denver. In the area there were nice restaurants and about 1-2 miles from a WalMart. The neighborhood was quiet and we didn’t have any interruptions to our sleep.
Very reliable and courteous shuttle service much appreciated, it runs every 30 minutes and to pick it up from the airport I had no need to book, just looked out for the bus with the hotel name "Comfort Suites" at the hotel bus area island, easy to find. The Room was excellent.. large with a great bathroom. Very quiet at night apart from the doors slamming, I suggest a retrofit of rubber stops better closers or something to cure this issue.
Very central location, close to everything. Staff extremely helpful and kind. They were available to show the hotel and the types of room before completing the reservation (which I asked after my awful experience with Holiday Inn Downtown Denver IGH). They also accommodated our requests about splitting the bill between two cards. Large room, clean and matching the description. AC perfectly working and silent. The breakfast was very good.
When I got to my room it was 78 degrees. I like to sleep at 70 degrees. After setting the thermostat at 65 to try and cool down my room. It was still 75 degrees when I left. Unacceptable. I have stayed at many hotels in Denver and Colorado Springs. I will never stay with this hotel again. And will make sure everyone I meet in and around Colorado. Knows not to stay there too.
It is a modern hotel in te developing hotel precinct for Denver Airport. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable with an excellent breakfast included. It was opposite a restaurant strip, so several good dinner options within a short walk. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a free shuttlle bus to/from the terminal - it's further than you think.
Really great location for those who want to travel to downtown Denver using the rail. The train is cheap and the station is at a walking distance from the hotel. (Tip: don't count on the train if you have an appointment or flight, for example; the train is not always on time).
Bedroom seemed larger than in the photos, and the bed was really comfortable.
The location of the hotel at Colorado Blvd. and Cherry Creek Drive North is very convenient to Cherry Creek and Downtown Denver. The parking garage enables me to get my car out of the weather and provides an added level of security. The rooms are very comfortable, and the restaurant and lounge service are great.
Stayed for one night before flying out of Denver. This hotel is conveniently located if you need to get to the airport. Staff was friendly, room was clean, but the whole place could use some refresh. Breakfast was good, WiFi fast, plenty of parking. In contrast to somewhat cheaper places, the premises felt safe.
It was our first time in Colorado & everything was amazing. The hotel being close to downtown, room space & the staff being so helpful. The breakfast crew was amazing & so nice as well, we had messy kiddos & they made sure we had no dirty plates or dirty tables so we can eat comfortably!
The hotel was clean, and the room was a great for the price pad, and beds were comfortable. The location was even better, exploring downtown Denver was so great when you are pretty much walking distance to anywhere you want to go. Will definitely be back.
The hotel was clean, very chic, and modern. We stayed in 3 hotels in 3 days in Denver/Golden and this was the nicest! The happy hour was awesome. The location was perfect to jump on the rail or explore downtown! It was an easy walk to Coors Field.
Great location just near RiNo area, walkable, or you can get the train to Downtown. Huge rooms, lovely restaurants just at the Hotel. Small, but decent gym. Really great place - would highly recommend.
Location was great, a true sense of downtown Denver. Plenty of food options, shopping, public transport. Very conveniently located. Hotel was clean and felt very safe.
