We loved Minneapolis! There was lots to do outside (fantastic park system, Mississippi River, water falls ...) and many breweries and distilleries and restaurants to explore. The Mall of America is certainly that! We had a lot of fun!

We were in town just for an overnight visit. We went to Birchbark Books an independent, local bookstore and an excellent one at that. Then had dinner at Owamni which was amazing and delicious. The next day we drove out to Chanhassen to Paisley Park for the Prince tour and it was worth every penny.

Hotel was hard to find, not enough signage at ground level.
Hotel was hard to find, not enough signage at ground level. Parking was expensive and the cost was not mentioned at time of booking. After unpacking we had to move rooms as the toilet was not working. The TV remote not working (it was quickly fixed), some light bulbs burned out, the floor and furniture was stained. Overall we were disappointed. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good.

The town seemed dead, although I visited in March and was not cold most of the day time but it seemed like no one was around even in the downtime. The other thing I noticed that the city is too "white", not much diversity or international community visible there. Many buildings in the downtime seemed empty and some had wooden planks instead of glass windows.

Minneapolis was a fabulous city, heartily recommend met some great people. Unfortunately the same can’t be said of my treatment by this property. Regrettably I have to write my first - in 20 years negative review on bookings.com. Whilst I prepaid for my stay with bookings.com and paid my extras (a couple of meals) bill at the hotel. When I got back they used my held credit card details to charge me for my accommodation for a second time.
I have contacted the hotel 3 times in the month since I returned with clear receipts and bank debits/audit trail but they haven’t had the decency to respond. I have worked in 4/5 star hospitality I am frankly shocked this is not how we would treat our customers.
Thankfully I was wise enough to share only credit card details with the hotel so my bank will ensure matters are dealt with but that’s not the point a very nasty taste was left in my mouth after an otherwise lovely trip.
Please take care if you decide to stay at this property they aren’t service focused and may double charge you and not have the decency to resolve.
The cost of the accommodations was perfect. The location right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis was ideal and literally right across the street from my daughter's condo, so we had no problem visiting with family over the holiday. Unfortunately, the City of Minneapolis has issues with keeping the skyways open over holidays/weekends and that was a bummer, but otherwise a perfect location. I liked that it had a kitchen and that the room had laundry detergent available for use.
Neat hotel overall. It's an older building that left a lot of that same charm from the times and long with some modern flare. The room was a good size with nice amenities. The shades needed to be closed the whole time as it felt like I'd be able to jump through the window into the window of the next building, or next part of the building. Decent location. Never fun paying $30+ for parking (not via the hotel), but fully expected it given it was downtown Minneapolis.
We were in town visiting family and friends so didn’t eat at the restaurant, but it was certainly crowded every night. Next time!
Truly exceptional option for people traveling with pets. Most hotels in the city are in a cement jungle, but Nicollet Island is part of the Minneapolis Park system, so there are good options to exercise your dog!
Comfortable room and bed and all of it! Will choose this Inn for future visits!
New clean carpet, walls and furniture, good locatio …. nothing else!
Parking is in a good location- but was very expensive- not much discount for guests. Seems like a way for the hotel to make money by artificially lowering the cost of the stay. We could have stayed and paid the same final bill for better hotel with free breakfast and parking.
The room was clean and well cared for. Breakfast was included. Which is always appreciated especially in a downtown setting where breakfast options are very limited. The hotel is close to the convention center and a bus terminal. Minneapolis is a great city to transverse via public transit. Friendly staff!
The hotel is clean and confortable. It's also really well located downtown (about 20 minutes walk max from the Target Field or the US Bank Staduim). Good restaurants and bar close by.
The continental breakfast was a nice surprise. Nothing extraordinary, but generous and good.
Everything from the staff (especially the night front desk, they are professional and pleasant. The hotel is very nice, and clean. The heater bathroom floors, rain shower, and comfy beds make this my go to place while downtown Minneapolis. Truly unique and chic! Well done!
