Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown areaJoAnneUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

This is an amazing place to stay if you’re comfortable with the array of things going on in downtown Detroit — and the folx in it. (One block from the bus terminal makes it interesting, but not too challenging most of the time.) High-ceiling modern loft living, reserved one day at a time. What’s not to love? Don’t expect a bellhop or hotel amenities. Security is on-site and attentive to what’s going on. So no parties, inside or out.
