An easy ten. The host was perfect, the rooms very comfortable, the ambiance, warm and welcoming and the public area fully equipped. Breakfast was fantastic. It was a perfect night stay to finish our trip.

Hi, I’m Esther! A little over a decade ago this dream began to take root in my heart to run a B&B where pastors and missionaries could stay for free and refresh their souls. In February of 2020 I began to pray God would bring this about. Less than a week later I met Doug and Karen Stewart and fell in love with the Engen Hus Bed and Breakfast. A month later I moved in and began running the B&B full time. Today the Engen Hus Bed and Breakfast is a luxury retreat to relax and recharge. It’s an ideal base camp for your ultimate ski vacation. It’s your next pampered fully catered corporate retreat. It’s your new home away from home.

Free off street, lighted parking. Bedrooms offer an ensuite bathroom, with shower. TV and Blue Ray players are available in each room. WiFi is available throughout the property. The backyard offers a patio, with table and six chairs, a firepit, a BBQ grill, and a seven-person hot tub. The main floor common area includes couch and chairs, fireplace, library, dining area, and a kitchen area, including sink and refrigerator. The upstairs common area loft includes a table with four chairs, two reading chairs with lamp, and a closet with board games, chess, and puzzles. About 100 movies are also available.
