The staff was excellent. This is a very old property and some fixtures were rundown and need to be fixed but overall the property was pretty with greenery and flowers.

The hotel is iconic, totally Instagram for all the facilities, the pool etc. But the rooms are quite basic, and the bathrooms more than basic. It is really a fun hotel for the photos, but not located in the center. Definitely need a car. There is a supermarket on the other side of the road and a few restaurants as well. The restaurant of the hotel is OK.

Famous Palm Springs seems now to be more of a typical mass...
Famous Palm Springs seems now to be more of a typical mass market tourist town, with 2 major, long streets that include many big & small shops, restaurants, bars/clubs, & a 3rd side street that also has some of same but is more run-down & busy with 'drive-thru' local traffic & many condo complexes, some of which look somewhat 'run-down'.
Still, PS is luckily located right below a moderatly high series of desert mtn peaks which makes for a 'different', scenic Backdrop. While there could be even more semi-tropical Flowering plants placed downtown, there are certain areas where they stand out, making for some incredible visit-Pics. Other than a Casino& hotel complex a block or two away from downtown, the rest of PS seems old & run-down, but, now old desert towns tend to look that way.
Also, there are some other interesting, and even more upscale/modern towns just 4-5 miles south along Palm Canyon Dr. (or hwy 111), that are worth visiting or staying in (though usually at higher cost).

Loved the vintage vibe and history of the hotel.
Loved the vintage vibe and history of the hotel. Very clean. Alex takes care of everything from checkin to maintenance. Very efficient. Appreciated pet policy being that it is such a small common space. Place could use new towels and linens. However the size of the bungalos made up for it. Really enjoyed our stay and would def consider staying again.

We love Palm Springs and have stayed at several properties there, but after our stay in the (glorious) Ricardo Suite at the Velvet Rope we have a vacation home to return to from now on. David Rios who designed all the suites and was our host, plus Kevin and Jeffery were as warm and accommodating as can be! We were delighted with every aspect of the hotel (touring many other suites there was also a visual treat), terrific pool deck, and we look forward to our return!!

We loved our trip to Palm Springs so much! The architecture, the food, the plants. It was all so different (from Vancouver) and so beautiful. We particularly liked the art museum and the Agua Caliente Museum. We can't wait to go back. Also our hotel Korakia was next level lovely.

Palm Springs is a lovely place, with mild climate, beautiful flowers and lush manicured hedges. Very clean streets, which are nice and wide. Palm Springs is an easy city to drive around in. Straight forward roads laid out on a grid. The downtown area is lively with unique shops and a multitude of good restaurants. Close to natural areas and parks such as Indian Canyons and Joshua Tree National Park.
This was a bestfriend kidnapping! We usually go where there are museums and unique things to do. We always like to be near restaurants. A pool or jacuzzi is a must. The pool and jacuzzi at this hotel were clean and had plenty of towels, lounges and tables.
The room was clean and beautiful. The bathroom was roomy and clean. There are many restaurants close by. The tram in Palm Springs is close by. The Air Museum is always a crowd pleaser. It didn't hurt there was a Astin Martin car club staying the same time we were there.
I was in town for Coachella and while my friends went home after a fun and exhausting weekend, I thought I would extend my stay to try out a couple of Palm Springs boutique hotels, relax and work remote. The first place I stayed was OK, but I really got lucky when I found Limon! I truly experienced a Palm Springs vibe here and the hotel was the perfect escape before heading back home. The quality of the guest rooms, staff and service were best of class!
After many years, I still really like this traditional, 'boutique style' hotel and its perfect location downtown Palm Springs. Property is constantly improved and everything is in perfect working condition. People are helpful. Performant WIFI. The large pool and the surrounding garden/courtyard is just great. They don't do things anymore like that, unfortunatly
Absolutely loved everything about this newly renovated hotel! It nails the retro-chic vibes of Palm Springs with just the right modern touches, from the design to the fabulous pool experience and everything in between. The in-house restaurant, Minerva's, is a gem – great food and atmosphere. Definitely found my new go-to spot in Palm Springs!
A really cool vintage motel, updated in all the right ways. The vibe is very Palm Springs. The staff were excellent, they went above and beyond. The pool was great, it was heated for those cool mornings. It was not cheap, but it was one of the best values in the area, especially considering the location. And, the room was huge.
Perfect location, warm pool, spa like feel to the hotel. The owners took great care in remodeling this mid-century hotel.
I can't say enough about this boutique mid-century hotel. This is my new go-to place in Palm Springs to stay.
Did I mention that the owners are on site for anything that you need.
A beautiful hotel in a great location. The pool being open until late was amazing too! We loved the breakfast options and the room itself was spacious and the bed extremely comfy! We didn’t want to leave Palm Springs and the hotel (along with the weather) was the reason why!
The location is central to downtown Palm Springs. It’s not walkable to downtown but it is a quick drive. It has a stand up shower, small fridge, and stove. It was cheaper than all other hotels in the area and I like that’s it was close to the Moorten botanical garden.
We had a great stay at the Ace Hotel. Very relaxed vibe, which was welcomed after a full on week working in LA. Super big, cosy bed, and we enjoyed the room. Loved The Kings Highway for lunch, and loved the relaxing by the pool area. Really friendly, helpful staff.
super cute and affordable stay in Palm Springs. perfect for our girls’ trip. Quiet and the staff was great. it’s a humble hotel and not fancy but that’s just what we wanted. close to everything and breakfast was at a nearby restaurant. Super causal and cute.
We had stayed in some very nice hotels in Palm Springs before, but this place was disappointing, as was Palm Springs. This small city used to be a very quiet and nice place to stay a couple of days, but it has changed to a touristy and noisy atmosphere.
Quaint boutique hotel well located near downtown Palm Springs. The staff and hotel service were excellent, especially Blanda! The beautifully designed courtyard, pool and hot tub were an oasis to look forward to after a busy day of activities.
The evening we arrived at Hyatt Palm Springs just so happened to coincide with the Thursday night street fair that was held on the street right outside the hotel. The fair was amazing, and the hotel's location was perfect.
I've always loved this hotel - it's the perfect little hideaway in Palm Springs, with the perfect pool and hot tub and a lovely pool bar.
I've stayed here about 10 times over the years and will definitely be back!
-loved the boutique feel of the place and decor very Palm Springs style
-all rooms are located directly by the pool
- as there are only a few rooms there is not a lot of people
-happy hour with wine and snacks
The room was beautiful and we walked to downtown Palm Springs it’s right down the block from the hotel.
It’s an awesome place to stay will always keep coming back!
