Quaint little coastal town-not a lot to do, we planned to be there three nights, four days but left early on day three. Lincoln City was a nice meeting point for extended family, some of us traveling from northern California and others from central and eastern Oregon. After 6 pm or so, the only thing to do is lose money at the casino. Beautiful beaches, cute shops, and yummy bakery in town. The outlet mall was a fun stop but most people can shop at home, don't need a vacation to necessarily do that.

Some in our group loved going to the casino.
Some in our group loved going to the casino. I just like staying at the beach house and enjoyed the beach itself. Nelscott is a perfect spot for rocking hunting at low tide. When it rained, I just enjoyed the view. Very busy for us since our family includes 5 young grandchildren. Went to Regatta Park on the way home and they LOVED this huge playground. Highly recommend!

LC offers a lot of beaches with good beach access, a casino, lots of restaurant options, hotels, an outlet mall, and other unique shopping options. There are several restaurants in the area with beach/ocean views. Traffic can get a little hectic during high tourist times.

the Roads End beach listed is more than a mile and a half from the hotel..the best bet is to just walk down 1/3-1/2 miles behind the hotel through the neighborhood, along the way is a little park called Connie Hansen botanical garden..then continue down 34th street past Connie Hansen and there is a beach access to get you right on the beach..from there you can walk the 1 1/2 miles of the beach to get to Roads End/God's Thumb area
I loved everything... The view made it feel like I was on the beach, when I was actually up in my room... The staff was very friendly... The room was very clean... The balcony was very convenient for me to fly my drone from... Loved that I could open my window and get the sea breeze, and hear the waves... I even loved the TV channel lineup, and was able to watch the Blazers beat Denver, IN MY ROOM!!!... The wifi was very fast, too... I may never stay at another hotel ever again... Your hotel was awesome... I want to come back!...
I was only there for one night as I was doing a cleaning job in Lincoln City, but the room was very comfortable and cozy. Loved the fireplace and even though I didn’t have an oceanfront room I could still hear the waves when I opened my sliding door. Bed was comfortable and loved having a little sitting area. Everything was clean. Was also great having a mini fridge and microwave
My room was upgraded at no additional cost. It seems something may be been wrong with the room I was to get initially. It rained most of the time I was there by I had an awesome view of the ocean and as soon as it stopped raining I could run out and walk on the beach. My room had a fire place and was nice and quiet.
Beachfront with amazing view. Close to everything Lincoln City has to offer. Great value for our one night stay. our room was very cute and clean for the age of the property. They were in the process of doing repairs to the outside of the building. Staff during check in were very nice. Pet friendly.
Perfect breakfast, and the staff helping there was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean, and the cleaning process what we saw happening was very intense. Extra's like fitness room and swimming pool (all free) we did not use. Very pleasant the back entry (access with room card)
They have upgraded this cute little place. When I lived in Lincoln City it was kind of a dive but it’s really cute now and we loved the extra bed available for our grandson! Is it on the beach? No. But it is clean and comfy and a great little place to stay!
The area of Lincoln city is lovely, center of town, close to everything. The hotel is right on the beach, so it would take less than a minute to have sand in your toes. And it's a large hotel, there's a lot of rooms to accommodate.
The unit had a rat. After a Stern conversation with assistant manager, we were booked and his sister hotel for one night. We were told we would have to find another place, even though we had booked two nights at the D Sands.
I liked that it was a comfortable and quiet stay and we barely heard any noises considering that it was at full vacancy. It is one of the most quiet hotels we have stayed at and we love that it is right on the beach.
The hotel is right above the beach and my room looked straight onto the sand and sea. Plus it had a balcony. The room was comfortable with a few extra touches like the border lighting on the bathroom mirror.
Every thing was above expectation! First time staying at a doggie hotel and I was very pleased with the facility! Will definitely recommend you to all friends and family with or without pets.
Some issues arose at first but the manager. Kim, quickly resolved them. Nice view of ocean and right on the beach. Great restaurants nearby. Very comfortable stay. Will return!
Hard to find a family space with kitchen for a reasonable price during the summer and D Sands Condos met the criteria. The location on the beach is excellent!
