Moab was a lovely little tourist town - a perfect gateway to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
There are many cute shops - Indigo Alley was a standout for us. Wonderful selection of clothing, accessories and footwear.
We enjoyed Doughbird for donuts and coffee - they had a vegan chocolate dip donut that was heavenly!
Moab is super walkable, especially if you are able to find accommodations on the main drag.
We had three full days in Moab, most of which were spent hiking and exploring the parks. We could easily have spent another day or two checking out the shops and eateries in town!

We loved the ease of going to the parks.
We loved the ease of going to the parks. The town itself was hosting spring break, but honestly did not affect us at all. The town seemed less crowded during the following week. The parks were not overwhelmingly crowded, the people were very friendly and outgoing. It is a great town, with good restaurants and easy accessibility whether driving, walking or hiking.

We visit Moab every few years for the hiking. This year we went to mountain bike. Off season(Nov-early March) is best for more solitude. Amazing red rock country with a wide variety of activities for every skill level.

Perfect place to visit to do SO much (or as little as you want). Short, easy hikes and long, strenuous hikes are all there. National parks, Colorado River, museums, great food, biking trails - this place has it all.

We came to Moab during the off-season to avoid high numbers of people. Since we bring our dogs, we don't go to the National Parks. We spent time hiking local birding spots and rock-hounding spots - lots of BLM ground for public access. We really enjoyed using Moab as our hub and then spending our days going in different directions. We shopped at the local grocery store and ate from our vehicle and/or our hotel room.

My Hotel room was dirty. The bed sheets had stains on it.
My Hotel room was dirty. The bed sheets had stains on it. The ceiling fan had strings of dust hanging from it and the door entering the room was broken. Because I have severe allergies and just couldn’t bring myself to sleep on the stained sheet I left a few minutes after check in. Booking and Days Inn of Moab refused to give my money back. I had to spend money on another hotel for the night. My first experience with Booking was not good because they wouldn’t make it right. Because of this my stay in Moab was not pleasant.
(This is my Yelp review) Considering the jaw-dropping hotel prices in Moab, this was a steal of a deal through booking.com. It's about five minutes from Arches, has a water play area, a big (warm!) pool and hot tub, some of the BEST macadamia nut white chocolate COOKIES I'VE EVER HAD (free cookies at 3:00 each day--big ones!), a free breakfast, and you can even order $10 lunches for hiking. The rooms are nice, the cleaning staff does a good job, and this hotel deserves accolades for its thoughtful service.
The property is beautiful, clean, and just felt very high end for a Hyatt Place. I’ve stayed in several of these same hotels in other areas that look/feel nothing like this. This place is fantastic! The rooms, pool, hot tub, splash pad and grounds are extremely well kept! We stayed in a casita (family of 5) and I don’t know if I’d ever want to stay anywhere else in Moab, but here, again! 🙂 I highly, highly, recommend the casitas, if it’s in your budget.
The rooms are updated and very nice. Check in was fast and easy. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in, perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of hiking. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great! Plenty of space and great water pressure! The location in Moab is great for accessing "downtown" shops and restaurants as well as Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The hotel is also pet friendly!
this is definitely one of the most stylish and modern hotels I have seen in the united states, which is especially surprising in a small town like Moab
cool fashion concept, materials, furniture, layout, details, and real paintings on the walls - everything is cool
nice staff
and a cafe with delicious breakfasts on the ground floor
everything you need to positively discover the beauty of Utah's nature
great location, easy access to downtown Moab and Arches National Park. Hotel was quite, and has huge rooms with kitchenette . Pool, bar and food were all just what we needed and breakfast was made fresh and hot. Even with lots of families on vacation it was quiet , will definitely stay again and recommend.
Location and view superb, right on the Colorado River amid astounding canyons, one of the best views in Moab. However, unless you book one of the suites near the front, you do not actually see the river, and the cabins are more rudimentary anf to me, not worth the cost.
This understated property is top notch in my book. They have the MOST comfortable beds. Pet friendly, laundry facilities, hot tub and walking distance to all of downtown Moab. This was my second stay at the property and it has been consistently 10/10!
Excellent location for walking to restaurants and a quick drive to Arches. Fun environment, sunset views and best pool with a slide! Loved it!!! The room was large and really captured the vibe of being in Moab and not just another boring hotel.
The hotel was fantastic! Such a cool place with a great vibe. We go to Moab often for mountain biking, and this is the best place we've ever stayed at in Moab. Dinner at the restaurant was great!
I have stayed here for years always enjoyed it but Moab is growing and hotels are getting more expensive but I still prefer this facility but I am looking more at alternatives due to price!
Property was so cheap for Moab. It is a little bit run down but what you would expect for the price. Met some fabulous people here too and would stay again if I was in the area.
Looks like a new hotel. There is a laundry facility on each floor. It is a few miles south of Moab downtown, but if you come there for NPs it really doesn't matter.
This hotel had a good location near all our activities in Moab and the downtown. We could walk to several restaurants. The room was comfortable and spacious.
