Piriápolis is a very family friendly beach town.
Piriápolis is a very family friendly beach town. It's a better place to visit during the summer since more services are available, but winter is a good time also. You can hike in the nearby hills, or you can visit the many beaches around. The beaches right in Piriapolis are nice but not the best, if you go east you should find bigger and better beaches, though maybe a little bit more dangerous. Keep in mind that during the summer the city can get very crowded with people.

It was the best trip I've ever had specially with my girlfriend we had so much fun we went to te beach rode jets ski had a night walk to the beach and even better i went down to my knees and asked her the big question and she said yes so we had a little celebration going into this nice restaurant and then we went for a walk again and then we hed back to the hotelAAnonymousUruguay - 10Scored 10

Piriapolis is a modern vibrant beach city with excellent choice of coastline for beach enjoyment or fishing. City has an atmosfere for both young and retired people, quiet a d safe with entretainment spots for thise who want it. Just an hour away from Punta del Este, a metropolis on its own .

They also helped me when my suitcase broke. Very friendly and helpful staff in summary. I also loved the view of the beach from the balcony. This is a good, clean hotel, not super luxury but just perfect for a relaxing beach stay. The art deco building and touches were nice too. The location is unbeatable, steps away from the beach, restaurants and little shops.
