Jose Ignacio is a beautiful place.
Jose Ignacio is a beautiful place. Beaches are very nice and you can find very expensive and nice restaurants. The village was a little bit destroyed with a big avenue at the entrance in replacement of the former street. A big mistake made by local authorities but it is still a beautiful place. A little bit too expensive. For these prices, the place should be wonderful. It was but it's not anymore. So sad local people destroyed this so beautiful natural place. But still very nice if you live in the region.

Too expensive for what it is.
Too expensive for what it is. Even though the beach is beautiful and the vibe is curated, prices emulate Switzerland for half the service and half the diversity. Also, if you request the price of a product or service, you might get one price estimate the first day, immediately followed by a higher price the next day and so on. They are disconnected from international tourism and seem to think that a foreigner will pay anything to stay there.

José Ignacio is chill and relaxed.
José Ignacio is chill and relaxed. This is not a cheap destination but we found it was clean and quiet during the early part of February. The town is small and can be navigated without a car though a car would be helpful to get here. Otherwise intercity buses are available.

Jose Ignacio is the perfect place to feel like you are off...
Jose Ignacio is the perfect place to feel like you are off the grid. Beautiful and quiet. However, we were there in mid December and we were probably two weeks too early. Most restaurants were open, but the rest of the town was pretty dead.
What a wonderful stay! The property was perfectly located minutes from the beach and the town of Jose Ignacio yet totally private in nature! The room was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were typical with bread, ham, cheese, fruit and sweets and eggs upon request.
The setting is divine with a swimming pool, lush gardens, and a wonderful shared kitchen area with bbq!
The owner Nikki was delightful, and very helpful with whatever your needs and questions were. Thank you for the wonderful days in Paradise!
A big surprise in the hinterland of José Ignacio. When booking, I was unsure whether the minimalist architecture might be too sterile, but it wasn't. With only eight very spacious rooms, a very exclusive affair - there was only one other guest there with us. Nevertheless, there is the full hotel operation with a really exceptionally well-trained and friendly staff and a service that responds within seconds. Actually, it seems more like a private home that has been opened to allow a few guests to enjoy this place. Wonderful!
Location -- right on the beach and a comfortable walk into Jose Ignacio and La Huela (great restaurant! great people watching!).
Staff -- loved the welcoming committee of property staff, hanging out and drinking mate. A very friendly experience.
Pool -- very nice and clean and great little cabana's for sun protection.
Restaurant -- Have Max make you pizza, and enjoy his breakfast. He makes everything himself and everything is delicious!
The room was clean and very well equipped - it even had a spa bath. The staff were helpful. We stayed only one night and our intention had been to drive into Jose Ignacio to find a restaurant for dinner. However, a very heavy rainstorm changed our plans and we ordered dinner at the hotel. We waited a long time for it (the staff apologised for this) but it was worth the wait.
Breakfast on our balcony the next morning was very good.
Everything was so great! the attention of the staff especially Pia & Mauricio going far and beyond to make us feel welcomed!!! Pia even went out of her way to help us with the luggage!! Just overall a beautiful experience! you have many activities that you can do like kayaking (which I highly recommend). if you want to enjoy Uruguay I highly recommend to stay here.
P.S if you love stargazing this is the best place!
Everything. From Santiago greeting us and taking our luggage to Ines answering every single question we had upon arrival and booking all of our dinner reservations. Flor was just as amazing to us in the evening. All of the staff was kind and wonderful. After the first day they had our coffee orders memorized. It felt like we were the only ones there.
One of the coziest places to stay in Jose Ignacio. But if I have to highlight something it would be the VIP service of their staff ( Specially Andy, Patricia and Jacinto) they truly want you to live a one in a lifetime experience. Also the rooms are super comfortable and clean and the location is one of the best you can get in Jose Ignacio.
Casagrande hotel was a great experience in Jose Inacio. The building is new and the rooms are very well equipped.
The staff is friendly and always available to help the guest. Gimena help us a lot, suggesting and booking the wineries and restaurants nearby. Definitely I want to return.
The location is in a nice little neighborhood near the beach, and Jose Ignacio town. Really pretty house and grounds with all the amenities and friendly owner. Was easy to check in and the property is charming and in great condition. Highly recommend it
Tha staff was extremely nice, Santiago and Andrea were always available and ready to help. Upon our arrival we got free upgrade to the best room of the resort with amazing views. The outside area was very peaceful and perfect for a family weekend getaway.
Cool architecture, beautiful roof terrace and swimming pool area, although small with limited number of chairs. Pleasant room with everything you need for self catering.
Unforgettable yoga class watching the sunset and beautiful sky.
Great location, close to José Ignacio and with an awesome beach in front.
Great service from all the staff, easy communication when needing anything, and very attentive to cleanliness.
Comfortable beds and functional kitchen.
Milly on the evening reception is a natural, as was the girl in the restaurant in the evening. The bed was divine. Sand dunes and lapping of sea gorgeous. Cleaners perfectionists. Location good.
I got very lucky to find this place - I could walk across the street to the beach and from there, walk up the beach to Jose Ignacio and explore the town. Perfect way to ring in the new year!
