Firstly, I wasn’t well when friends and I stayed. E Vung out. For a vining local areas and sights by taxi. Buddha, fishing village, front beach, back beach, markets etc.
We thought It is a local beachside town with not much to offer international tourists. There are a lot of expats living there from the war. Very laid back lifestyle, general service was ok, not much English spoken. Wouldn’t go there again.

The city of Vung Tau is spread out and if you do not have transportation there are lots of cab or taxi vehicles available. Most of the cabs use meters so there is little haggling over fees. The city has a large variety of nice restaurants and places to have some fun. Although I was by myself I did not feel that there was any problems in walking or using the transportation.

You only need 2 days 1 night in vung tau. from ho Chi Minh only 2.5 hours per way to vung tau. Cheap and fresh seafood. Most crowded beach in Vietnam back beach. Front beach to see ship stop by. Cheap massage. Jesus mountain, whale temple, cable car, bao dai palace, lighthouse are the scenery must view in vung tau. Can buy cake before go back. Futa bus station vung tau got plenty of choices VIP limousine, VIP bus and etc. can ask and try compare few only decide. Futa limousine or bus not best choice. A bit hot weather. Seaside got monument can take photo. C.Thien Nienh is best restaurant give cheap, fresh seafood. Got many choices of convenient shop. Opposite the whale temple got seafood noodle quite nice and cheap and fresh. Take grab bike is good to go. The public open air car charge 40.000vnd per 2km. Grab bike only 18.000 to 28.000vnd. Jesus mountain stair got 910+- steps but easy to go up because stairs not big high. Can climb up Jesus inside and view panoramic of whole vung tau city. Is not as crowded like ho Chi Minh City. More relaxing with breezy wind blow.

Nice place , most of the nightlife and bars were round at front beach , back beach very quiet at night apart from hotels . Would advise getting a scooter as from back beach to front is a fair walk --loads of lovely seafood restaurants including David's Italian restaurant which we ate at many times and was amazing.

The place is far, far less busy than Ho Chi Minh, so it's an option if you want Southern Vietnam without the stress. There are plenty of cheap options for local food. If you want to eat Indian or Australian food, you'll pay a little more... but a one-course main meal and drinks for 4 will still only cost around US$20-US$30 total (not each).
The Karaoke is 'out of control'. Our hotel seemed to be surrounded by them, and so a sound similar to strangled cats will waft up to your apartment until around 10 pm on weekends. Not bad... actually quite humorous.
If you're looking for accommodation I would suggest anything near the Lotte Mart. It's the best supermarket shopping we could find in the month we were there. You can also buy hot food right in the supermarket and eat it at a table. This will cost around US$1.50 each. We stayed at The Song, which is a high-tech brand-new building with an infinity pool on the roof and a kids' pool on the 5th floor. The digital nomad facilities are SUPERB. It cost us US$650 for a full month from Christmas 2023 into January 2024.
The hotel is not less than villa, it’s an awesome hotel, they have their own passage over bridge to connect hotel from beach. Beach pools are also awesome, inside hotel pools are long enough and quite mesmerizing look and feel. I stayed for 3 nights with my family and every single penny has worth, breakfast awesome, hotel staff always smile on face, hotel not less than luxury itself, it’s best hotel in vùng tao. Even for kids they have special playground. Awesome everything.
I recently stayed at the Ibis Styles Vung Tau and was blown away by the beautiful sea view from my room! The location of the hotel, opposite the beach, made for an incredible sunset experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable and provided great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beach getaway with stunning views and top-notch service.
Location, location, location. Situated in a great lively area of Vung Tau. Hotel was about 400m to the beach, very well priced where you would pay similar to stay in a hostel without your own room/privacy/bathroom etc. First place where even with windows/doors open to room, no mosquitos/bugs. Room while a little dated decor wise was not offensive and had some charm to it. Bathroom was great. Bed was super comfortable.
We liked the value for money, the very accomodating and attentive staff - he constantly checks us if we needed something.
We also liked the location. We discovered late that it was surrounded by great noodle houses and coffee shops! I think the best pho in Vung Tau is the one near this hotel.
It is highly likely that we'll stay in this hotel again. We are definitely going back to Vung Tau!
The staff were so friendly and helpful always trying to please. The gardens, pond and common spaces on the property were beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. It was nice to get real fruit juice. We took advantage of a 50% discount at the spa and liked the Himalayan hot stone massage so much we got a second one. We also made use of the free hotel shuttle.
I stayed at The Sóng Vũng Tàu for a business trip and was really impressed with the quality of service here. The apartment was very comfortable and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I also liked the surrounding area as it was close to the beach and had many good restaurants. I will definitely come back here when I have the chance
The owner is friendly and support for any issue in apartment. The balcony has a smart drying rack quite convenience. Specially the breakfast are good like Com Tam, Banh Uot and Pho.
The location is number one because the hotel is on the main street that we can go to the seaside for sightseeing, enjoy the local foods.
It's still renovated. And they offered me another hotel. I seem it's look nice.after I went to vung tau they say sorry out of rooms and they bring me to another hotel. It's very dirty and I will go around and find another room. If they still renovation why are they showing booking.com
Good location, good view to the see. Service is good too. The private beach is easy to get there. They also have a restaurant beside their private beach. Their foods are so excellent. Recommended hotel for your trip at Vung Tau.
Every was great. 3 stars hotel, The room is new, clean, nice view. The food hard was normal, but the food is still good. If u are looking a place gathering with family for few nights in Vung Tau then this is the one
The hotel has all the requirements for an excellent relaxing stay for business while in Vung Tau or holiday. The staff are exceptional in service and the GM Mr David is a leader of exceptional hospitality services
Huge balcony gives excellent views of the beach.
Best hotel gym I have ever used with great variety of new, high quality equipment.
Ultra powerful bidet hose will have water spraying out of your ears.
Nicely furnished hotel with comfortable and clean room rooms. pool was a lovely feature to escape the heat if you like swimming at the beach. Conveniently located near lots of shops and restaurants.
The hotel was excellent value for money, the only let down was the area and the beach but this is not the hotels fault.
The breakfast was good and a good choice. Staff were friendly.
The hotel is brand new and located near the beach. Staffs are super friendly and professional. Overall it was a great exprience, especially with the price they offered.
Nicely designed boutique hotel in a quiet but trendy corner of Vung Tau. Rooftop pool with sunset views. Good size room and comfortable beds. Would stay here again.
