The rooms were exceptional and the breakfast exceeded expectations, best breakfast I've had in Viet Nam. The beds were large and comfortable. The whole complex was of a high standard that made our stay feel that bit more luxurious. The location was perfect for what we wanted which was close to the port for our Ha Long Cruise booked for the next day.

We stayed for one night only, prior to a cruise. The hotel is very helpful and, as everywhere we found in Vietnam, incredibly friendly. The room, a classic suite, was roomy and comfortable. Xuyen, who looked after us for drinks and dinner was very attentive and friendly. One surprise was that the pool is not at the main hotel complex where we stayed - but somewhat farther away. The hotel provides electric shuttle cars to get there, but we didn't try this as we were there for an afternoon and evening only and arrived in the late afternoon. Dinner was great and a they had huge range of options for breakfast which were delicious. We had booked a boat from another company which boarded at a dock about 10 mins away by car, but they were very helpful in arranging a taxi to get us there. The area around the docks is pretty empty, so don't be surprised if there's not much going on outside the hotel.
