The cruise manager, Mr.Chien, was a clear communicator that made us feel at ease and most staff members were equally enthusiastic in providing a good service. It’s a must to stay 3D2N on the cruise in my opinion to be able to enjoy the beauty of the area on the additional day. If you would only spend one night, you may risk only seeing a couple overcrowded places on land. The extra day was used, highly appreciated, to set sail around more quiet areas of the bay.

In case of bad weather conditions and risks of storms, Halong Bay Port Authority might limit the possibilities of cruising and make final decision of cruise cancellation.
In the event of foreboding storms, cancellation is informed prior to arrival date and guests do not travel to Ha Long, full refund is given to the guests.
