Firstly, I wasn’t well when friends and I stayed. E Vung out. For a vining local areas and sights by taxi. Buddha, fishing village, front beach, back beach, markets etc.
We thought It is a local beachside town with not much to offer international tourists. There are a lot of expats living there from the war. Very laid back lifestyle, general service was ok, not much English spoken. Wouldn’t go there again.

I loved the location and the beaches.
I loved the location and the beaches. Naturally the Vietnamese were very kind and helpful as always making the vacation very comfortable. I am not into the dancing and nightlife but that said there are many fine restaurants and places to meet people. Getting around was very simple as long as you knew and understood the local currency, taxi were clean and well maintained and the drivers will go out of their way to assist you if asked. It is too bad that it is such a long way from Saigon. They should put in a light rail system and make Vung Tao a prime destination.

You only need 2 days 1 night in vung tau. from ho Chi Minh only 2.5 hours per way to vung tau. Cheap and fresh seafood. Most crowded beach in Vietnam back beach. Front beach to see ship stop by. Cheap massage. Jesus mountain, whale temple, cable car, bao dai palace, lighthouse are the scenery must view in vung tau. Can buy cake before go back. Futa bus station vung tau got plenty of choices VIP limousine, VIP bus and etc. can ask and try compare few only decide. Futa limousine or bus not best choice. A bit hot weather. Seaside got monument can take photo. C.Thien Nienh is best restaurant give cheap, fresh seafood. Got many choices of convenient shop. Opposite the whale temple got seafood noodle quite nice and cheap and fresh. Take grab bike is good to go. The public open air car charge 40.000vnd per 2km. Grab bike only 18.000 to 28.000vnd. Jesus mountain stair got 910+- steps but easy to go up because stairs not big high. Can climb up Jesus inside and view panoramic of whole vung tau city. Is not as crowded like ho Chi Minh City. More relaxing with breezy wind blow.

Beautifull view from the lighthouse with sunset and massive lighting in the nighttime on the fron beach. Some temples and off course the Christian influence also with the big statues.
I found it queit cozy. Easy to ger a taxi or Grab.

Nice place , most of the nightlife and bars were round at front beach , back beach very quiet at night apart from hotels . Would advise getting a scooter as from back beach to front is a fair walk --loads of lovely seafood restaurants including David's Italian restaurant which we ate at many times and was amazing.

The place is far, far less busy than Ho Chi Minh, so it's an option if you want Southern Vietnam without the stress. There are plenty of cheap options for local food. If you want to eat Indian or Australian food, you'll pay a little more... but a one-course main meal and drinks for 4 will still only cost around US$20-US$30 total (not each).
The Karaoke is 'out of control'. Our hotel seemed to be surrounded by them, and so a sound similar to strangled cats will waft up to your apartment until around 10 pm on weekends. Not bad... actually quite humorous.
If you're looking for accommodation I would suggest anything near the Lotte Mart. It's the best supermarket shopping we could find in the month we were there. You can also buy hot food right in the supermarket and eat it at a table. This will cost around US$1.50 each. We stayed at The Song, which is a high-tech brand-new building with an infinity pool on the roof and a kids' pool on the 5th floor. The digital nomad facilities are SUPERB. It cost us US$650 for a full month from Christmas 2023 into January 2024.
The studio apartment was spacious, with a nice view of the hill with the statue of Jesus, good aircon, a comfy large bed, a TV with Netflix, modern bathroom. Two super clean pools are just a superb feature for anyone. I especially appreciated the English-speaking manager who was always available to answer my questions, advise me on where to eat, and what to see. The hotel's no-frills scooter rental was another top facility. I had a really good stay in Vung Tau thanks to the support of this hotel and I would 100% stay again. Thank you!
Beautiful new hotel within walking distance of back and front beach.
Very comfortable beds and bed linen
A small desk to work on and good lighting.
Close to bars and restaurants.
A lovely pool with waterfall for an afternoon dip, not much outside seating but ok for us.
Food was very tasty and staff so accommodating!
I
Staff were lovely, although I really needed my Google translate but that was great for helping me learn a little of the language.
Beach front location. Quiet and relaxing surrounding. Pool and its area. Breakfast was exceptional, full marks to kitchen for every dishes on offer was of top quality, been to many hotels, their breakfast dish quality was always hit and miss. Gym was top, enough range to cover off needs. Staffs at reception were professional. Attentions to details in rooms are recognisable. Balcony seating with beach view is unbeatable!
The owner is friendly and support for any issue in apartment. The balcony has a smart drying rack quite convenience. Specially the breakfast are good like Com Tam, Banh Uot and Pho.
The location is number one because the hotel is on the main street that we can go to the seaside for sightseeing, enjoy the local foods.
The hotel is located in an alley. It is not hard to find. A short walk from the hotel took you to the beach. The facility is quite old and missing some basics components. For the price after Tet festival it is quite expensive. It included the breakfast which was like a joke.
I think this is the most convenient hotel in Vung Tau because they close to the night market and they have the bridge connect the hotel to the sea. So, we don’t need to walk across the road. We’ve been here two times, we like this hotel.
It’s clean, very near from the beach, good staffs especially Kinh and Nhu in the reception area. It was my birthday and they made my stay memorable by preparing cake inside my room. I’m very happy to celebrate my day at the hotel!
Very good ! Hotel room really big ..especially bathroom. Staffs were patient and polite. Nice view and nice breakfast. Good location as it is near to night market and seaside. Hope to stay at Pullman again. Thank you !
It is a very good hotel in a good location close to the sea & the city centre. The rooms are clean and spacious with awesome views of the mountains & city. I would definitely stay there again when in Vung Tau
Nice hotel in a good beach location. Very clean, staff was very attentive and pleasant. Only shortcoming was the breakfast buffet was a little light, but we were told that the property was not full.
Location is very good, 3 mins walk to the beach, staff are helpful. They give us a double-bed room with the price of single-bed room. The alley to the hotel has a lot of great street food.
LOVED IT! So beautiful, clean, modern, well laid out, great amenities, fantastic rooms. Definitely would stay again if in Vung Tau. Keen to try the Fusion hotels in other areas now
It's location was a short walk to Belly's Watering Hole. I liked the heated rooftop pool. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my Australian friends who might visit Vung Tau.
I slept well, the location is close to the beach, and I got a 4 start hotel at a decent price. Clean, big rooms for max convenience. Staff was very helpful.
