Welcome was great and Emmy is fantastic. Breakfast really good. Not an issue with room noise and it is on the street so it is to be expected. All staff very friendly and happy to help. Litte touches always go a far way - petals and strawberries on bed for celebration of our anniversary.

We arrived very late for check in and the team were so helpful. They left me a note on the door with instructions find my room and where the keys were. It’s also a stunning place to stay and a 3 minute walk to the penguins.

What a lovely guesthouse. The views. The room. The comfy bed. Gillian is a superb host - so attentive, polite and what a breakfast she cooks! I enjoyed using the light and airy communal area to catch up on work during the day - the views from the office were pretty epic that day.
This place is conveniently located between Kalk Bay and Simon's Town where I ate at some superb restaurants. There's also a handy mini mall with two supermarkets, just a short walk away.

Watercolours Studio was one of my best stays ever on the Peninsula. Starting with the best host, Sharon makes you feel at home immediately. The location s perfect with incredible views, all facilities, decor and extra touches makes it 5 star in my books.
This would be my first choice of accommodation in this area in the future.

Simon's Town is the perfect place to go to, to not be in the city, to relax and to unwind.
Boulder Beach was an exciting experience, and we truly enjoyed it.
We ate at Fran's Place on the Waterfront, and had the most delicious Seafood Platter.
The food at Willets Hotel is just as amazing!
In Sea Point, Cape Town itself, it feels unsafe to sit on the Beach for too long, but in Simon's Town we stayed on Long Beach until sunset.
It was a calming few days. Wished we could have stayed longer.

A little noisy late evening and early morning due to comings and goings with deliveries etc.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to entertain younger kids without the big commercial rush of the bigger more popular areas in Cape Town, I recommend Simons Town. So much to do with younger kids who enjoy the outdoors without the rush of a lot of people around you.
Hosts were amazing! Belinda become our mum away from home - always looking after us in the form of freshly baked cookies, occasional chocolate drop off's and constant updates about everything going on in the area.. This Greek Mommy has all the best restaurant spots (obviously) so do not hesitate to ask her opinion on things - You can tell she loves and cares for her guests and will go out of her way to ensure they have a memorable stay. :) Would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Simons Town - You won't be disappointed.
I read the booking user ratings, and said to myself, it's a bit much to be truth =).. But all of it was so true.. we enjoyed the staing in this property very much! <3 Hosts were very kind to us and there was not a single thing that i could say it went wrong in there.. thank you once more for everything.. Much recomended.. nice location.. quiet neighbrhood.. we stayed in more houses on our roadtrip through south Africa, all of them was great.. mybe we are yust lucky, but this was our favourite and best spot & accomodation..
Very special place. The two managers do really everything they can do to make your stay enjoyable. There are so many little details that make this hotel special. Apart from the room there is plenty of ways to hang out - such as at the billard room or in the common room on the top floor. Wifi is fast, breakfast is sumptous, location offers great views over the bay from every room. A unique place - compared to centre of Cape Town at a fair price.
We were birding around Cape Town with a day-long pelagic (boat trip to the continental slope 25 miles offshore). A very early start on Saturday and very tired at end of day, made staying next to the Simon's Town harbor a must. The aha Quayside is clean and quiet, restaurant downstairs had good food and great views of harbor.
Everything was exceptional! We enjoyed our stay and will recommend Roman Rock Apartments to anyone and everyone. The beauty of the views from the rooms and balcony is fantastic. I want to thank the hosts that made our stay wonderful and best of wishes for them. Thank you for your friendliness.
First of all the staff hospitality was remarkable, especially the owner who came to check on our needs and comfort. Amazing front place to relax and read with the best view of the horizon. Breakfast was the best we had during the whole trip! Food was prepared fresh and in tune to our liking.
We had a lovely time here.
This is a family run Hotel and is more of a laid-back beach hotel.
The rooms are spacious and nice. Bathrooms are quite modern.
The beach is right outside the hotel and baboons are frequent visitors.
Staff, including the owners are very nice and friendly
Like the feel of the House Real French touch you feel like you in different country specially for me that's from Cape Town.
There is no words to describe this place just Fabulous..
Thank you too William and his Staff I will definitely come very soon...
This hotel was literally next to the penguins beach! We saw quite a few penguins just outside while having breakfast and walking and that was amazing! They even did our laundry free of charge. Best stay if you love penguins and want to be close to them!
Such a perfect place to stay with an amazing view. Breakfast was excellent , the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Amanda & Walter are the best hosts in the world ❤️ Thank you for everything, I will be back for sure!
Lovely hosts, thorough communication. The area was lovely and it was such a beautiful view of Simon's Town. It is amazing on top of the mountain. The view is the best part. In the heart of nature. Had a great stay.
The view is amazing and it has the most wonderful sunrises ☀️
It is the perfect location to explore the southern part of Cape Town! The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Would definitely love to stay again.
The Simon's Town Quayside Hotel was lovely. The rooms are large, comfortable and well airconditioned. The location is excellent, and allows for easy walks around the quay at Simon's Town.
Tremendous hotel. Great hosts , amazing views, great breakfasts and excellent location for Simon’s Town. Best hotel
I have stayed in with individual service and helpful, friendly hosts.
The location is good & it will be best if you can offer breakfast. other than that everything is fine.
service is the best. View is nice and it is well located and family friendly
I loved seeing the mountain right behind the hotel; it was such a lovely natural vibe. Plus, the elevation gave a great vantage point of the beach for breakfast.
