We didn't eat their breakfast because my family was cooking us for breakfast at their house and my family took us out to the restaurant for breakfast as well. The location is nice because my family lives nearby the location. We have enjoyed there very much so far.

5 Konings Accommodation in Paarl invites you to stay in one of our 8 stylishly decorated, en-suite rooms catering for your comfort and enjoyment. All the rooms are equipped with airconditioning, DSTV, flat screen televisions and bar fridges. Complementary wi-fi is available. Coffee/tea facilities available in each room. Each room has a private entrance. The Royal Mint, Lady Grey, Student Prince and Queens Crown rooms are all in one house. The Garden Queen, Kings Pride, Royal Salute and Penny Royal rooms are in an opposite house.

Situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Paarl offers a great feast of attractions. Paarl is the third oldest town in South Africa and particulary know for the longest main road and for its mountain or “Paarl Rock”. A number of restaurants serving a range of local and international cuisine can be found within 5 minutes drive from 5 Konings. Most of the wine estates have restaurants eg Rhebokskloof, Fairview and Spice Route. Restaurants nearby is Blacksmith Kitchen, Cattle Baron, Noop Restaurant and Hussar Grill. Visit the numerous wine farms of the area, meander through the historical streets of Paarl, lined with oak trees and old Dutch buildings, or play a round of golf at Boschenmeer or Pearl Valley, two world-class courses. Paarl Mountain Reserve, especially noted for the enormous 500 million year-old granite rocks (Paarl, Bretagne & Gordon) that gives Paarl it’s name. The Paarl Mountain Reserve is a popular destination for rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking. The Afrikaans Language Monument, one of only 2 monuments in the world to be erected in honor of a language, is worth a visit on the slopes of Paarl Mountain, especially for the view.
