Great Spar and Woolies. Our 2 favorite bars are Wunderbar and the bar at the Farmhouse Hotel that also has a pool table. Our favorite restaurants are Queens Cottage (woodburning kitchen, some of the best food we've ever eaten) and LePetit Maison (French inspired, brilliant!!)
They have their own uber service called "dial a buddy" , very clever idea and super reasonable.
The beach walks are lovely.
It's generally a peaceful town, but with loads of activities, so you'll never get bored.

Perfect kitesurfing destination, we were able to kite 8 out of 14 days due to wind (February). Not many restaurants but some pretty good. Convenient near-by supermarket. Load shedding affects Langebaan as it does the rest of the country. In general the village feels safe and relaxed.

We went to Langebaan to celebrate our anniversary and booked strandloper for our anniversary dinner. The experience was amazing, the vibe was great and staff are super friendly. We had a taste of all the delicious meals Langebaan had to offer. The sunset was beautiful and therapeutic to watch in between the meal breaks. I am definitely going back.

Langebaan is an awesome place for a break away from the busy city life in Capetown. There's alot to do in and around Langebaan. Great activities for families and really safe. Their restaurants are great and beaches clean. I will recommend Langebaan to anyone for a relaxing break away. Will definitely be back. Next time I will make sure to stay in a holiday house as booked and not a building complex

Langebaan is a fantastic place to visit.
Langebaan is a fantastic place to visit. They have different beaches, and each beach has its own strengths. There are many eating places to choose from. Langebaan is easy to access as the signs are visible. There are so much to do thus plan your visit ahead of time.
The location was perfect. I particularly loved the proximity of the secure green belt where I could get a good safe walk on my own in fynbos nature and end up on the beach. Wonderful
Access via the Langebaan Gate to West Coast National Park was easy. There I hiked the Bakoor
trail with my friend , an Honary Game Ranger, and enjoyed masses of wild flowers and birdlife in the serene bird hide.
We loved the view and icecream at SharkBay , lunch at Perly's on Main Beach and sundowners at Mark's Beach Bar on Calypso Beach
Fantastic location - quiet with a lovely view. We walked or took the car to Langebaan town to explore. The hotel is new and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable, large bed, great shower and beautiful bathtub. Spacious breakfast room/restaurant. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We liked that there is a 'beach shack' a few hundred metres down the road by the beach (belonging to the hotel) with a little café that seems to be very popular.
Everything was perfect, view, location. Very friendly host Roger.Lost my car keys and he offers me help.took me to police station. 3 officers at Langebaan police station was very helpful. One official saw the notice on one of Langebaan community groups, Contact the person and they collect my keys.thnx so much to the guys at police station. Very much appreciated.
Superb location.
The location was perfect; on the beach front and within walking distance of restaurants and Spar. View of the sunset from the apartment was stunning!!!!! The rooms are serviced daily, which was an added bonus. Friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend Friday Island and will definitely stay there when I next visit Langebaan.
What i loved most about it was the view, the rooms were amazing, staff was super friendly and acommadating. Ronette is just a sweet pleasure and a ball of fun, really exceeds your expectations in anything you might request. All in all i will be going back for as long as I'm alive. You won't regret choosing langebaan beach towers for a a stay.
everything. The host was so friendly. The accommodation was so comfortable, cozy and immaculate. Paulina prepared a wonderful breakfast for us for our early start. I highly recommend this to anyone staying over for one or more nights in Langebaan. I wish we could have enjoyed the property for longer.
Nik and Asel are so kind and welcoming people, we had a great time spending two days at their guesthouse. Excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to the beach and shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We recommend it to everyone who wants to have a pleasant stay in Langebaan.
The house is very close to the Mykonos resort which is what we like. My husband sails a race from Royal Cape Yacht Club to Mykonos. Langebaan every February. We have stayed here numerous times. The house has all that you need. However, we are typically only there to sleep.
We had a lovely stay in Langebaan. The cottage has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the wind surfers in the afternoon. The furniture is neat and comfortable, and the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. Everything was perfect

The place is also spacious.
Gated community so you can take a nice walk around the neighborhood
This was a great find for the Langebaan Mad Dash. Right at the starting point. Simple and everything you need. In love with the converted containers. Showers work perfectly. Views are exceptional.
It was exactly what I wanted. I treated my Sister & Brother to Club Mykonos, Langebaan, to celebrate her 70th birthday & our reunion with my Brother after 7 years.
The Farmhouse Hotel is beautiful and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was out of a magazine, gorgeous. The views and sunset are breathtaking.
