Atlantic Haven is just 100m from Blouberg beach. You will awake in the morning with an amazing view of the surf and beach and a vista from Table Mountain to Robben Island and go to bed at night with the soothing sound of the waves. Sip a sundowner on the verandah and watch the best sunsets ever.
As a previous owner of a 4-star B&B in Durban, I like to make sure that the apartment is furnished for guests to have a most comfortable stay. I pay attention to detail. Our managing agent in Blouberg is Andre, who has also been in the hospitality industry for years and will personally attend to your needs.
Blouberg is renowned for its iconic views. Most of the photographic scenic shots of Table Mountain are taken from Blouberg. There is a panoramic sea, surf and sand view which goes from Table Mountain through to Robben Island. And the sunsets are amazing. Very much a beach activity area, kite surfers, long board surfing, wind surfing, regular surfers are all attracted to the area. Sometimes you will see up to 200 colourful kites in the air. Blouberg also has lots of restaurants and bars - many with superb sea and sunset views, creating a happy holiday atmosphere. Being just 20 mins from Cape Town Centre, all the international acts and sports events are nearby, as well as a visit to the famous Cape Town Waterfront or a trip up Table Mountain by cable car. Blouberg is on the MyCiti bus route for ease of transport into Cape Town or just from one end of Blouberg to the other. Not too far from Blouberg is the Durbanville Wine area, take a 30 minute drive to do wine tasting of some of South Africa's famous wines, whilst just over an hour drive you can take a trip to the West Coast area of Langebaan and the historic Paternoster and view the West Coast flowers from August to October.
