Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms.
Margate is a small town, that operates on its own terms. The people are warm and welcoming. When we were there the weather was gloomy and raining, so we never go to truly experience beautiful sunny weather. Restaurants are okay the food is okay not great, however the service is terrible.

Margate is a beautiful holiday spot with good beaches. We had our meals at Margate Hotel. Driving around is easy. Shelly Centre and South Coast Mall are near to satisfy additional needs. One should book book early to get quality accommodation.

what i like most is that the accommodation was close to the shops/malls and most of all beach front.
The caretaker was very friendly. The rooms were very clean, and the parking areas was secure. We had remotes for the front entrance and the rear gates. The place was very safe. Could walk around at night and felt safe.

Everything was exceptional, expect the fridge was not working only the separate deep freezer was working and it kinda caused a little inconvenience, but all in all we loved the place, planning on going back be year end.
i am sorry some names i missed but i loved the staff's proffessional, caring &exceptional welcome they displayed. from top to bottom Pearl, the reception staff from the 2nd June esp the ones who were on duty on the night of the incident that we had, where we needed help with an ambulance to the hospital.the guys who assisted us with our luggage from reception to the rooms and again on checkout.Akashni & her assistant for allowing us to unwind in her office.thank you so much.MARGATE SANDS ROCKS.
Spacious rooms, all amenities for a homely stay provided (including fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms). Money well spent for a beautiful view and relaxing stay. Jacuzzi, pool, sauna, bar and beach close by with plenty of daily activities at pool deck or you simply make your own itinery to explore Margate. Friendly staff and good overall service and experience.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, rooms neat but more improvement will help, I had coffee in the morning and the cups were not washed, soap was not replaced considering we were two sharing the hotel soap, a bar or mini fridge will help as it is needed to refrigerate ones drinks and dairy product to snack on. Otherwise the stay was good and relaxing
Very neat, spacious and well kept apartment, direct beach access which is amazing if you enjoy early morning walks on the beach. The complex was busy with holiday makers which made it noisy but this was expected especially this time of the year.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will visit again.
We've never been accomodated at Margate hotel holiday. Nothing I liked since we couldn't find the place. And they were unreachable.
I liked the service of Fahed S from Booking.com who assisted us nicely with alternative accomodation which is St Michael the very beautiful place.
Accomodation was lovely and spacious. Exactly like the pictures. Loved that it was right on the beach and such a quiet apartment. Close to all ammenities and very safe. The best part of the stay had to be the comfy beds. Everyone enjoyed their sleep so much.
The property was very clean. It’s safe and right on the beach. It had all the amenities we needed, including a safe parking space and a safe place for children to play.
Everything wa good. And the place is in a quiet place. So it was peaceful. Then I said to my self if go to Margate again surely I will book there again
