This place is what dreams are made of. If you like nature and can appreciate a beautiful sunrise, this place is deffo for you. I would get up every morning to watch the sun rise right on the deck in front of my bedroom. This place is worth every penny. There was no load shedding for us because of the solar panels. We had a great time. The owner was also fantastic to deal with he took great care of us. 5 stars from me.

Providing river views and barbecue facilities, Pirates Creek Self Catering Chalets is situated in the Wilderness Beach district of Wilderness, 200 m from Wilderness Segway Tours. Our unit comprise a seating area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including an oven, a microwave and a fridge. A stove top and kettle are also featured. Netflix and You Tube streaming available at no cost. We have an additional Coffee station with basin and a bath with river views in the main bedroom. Furthermore we offer Wi-Fi that covers the total house and deck areas. The chalet makes use of a gas operated stove, basin and shower downstairs and the rest electrical appliances. Service lady can be arranged for your account. The chalet offers an outdoor pool. The property features a playground. Double Kayak and firewood use included in your stay.
Please enjoy our chalet with all the functions we offer. Come and relax right on the river with beautiful views. Watch the rich bird life and if you enjoy fishing, this can be done from the deck. Bring your canoe or use our Kayak for free and explore the river, or enjoy the many hiking routes in the area. We are a phone call away for any assistance you may need. Eden Adventures (Canoes) is 700 m from Pirates Creek Self Catering Chalets, while Wilderness, Garden Route National Park is 900 m away. The nearest airport is George Airport, 20 km from the property.
Lying in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in a region of incomparable beauty, Wilderness is an attractive holiday resort with beautiful beaches and numerous vantage points from which to watch the whales and dolphins. As far back as the late 1800's the reputation of Wilderness with its natural bounty of rivers and lakes and intrinsic peace and tranquillity, ideal for seaside holidays, was established in a little stone farmhouse. A seaside boarding house was established in the old homestead - and so began the tradition of hospitality which has made this small resort town famous all over the world. The romantic resort of Wilderness lies 15 km east of George, between the Kaaimans River in the West and the Goukamma Nature Reserve in the east, bordered by the Outeniqua Mountains in the north and the Indian Ocean in the south. Wilderness is renowned for its vast stretches of beach, its peace and tranquillity and the absence of windswept headlands and wild, stormy seas. The long stretch of beach embraces the mouths of the Touw and Kaaimans Rivers, and is backed by northward cliffs over which the fringe of the forest reaches down to sea level.
