Great city with amazing Art stores, very good restaurants and Cafes, great trails to mtb or hike. We were there for the mtb Cape Epic race and the quality of the trials were superb. Have 1 of the best dinners of our trip and full of wineries too and petit hotels with friendly staff..

If you enjoy wine this is a must destination! 250+ vineyards most with tasting opportunity and many with great dining! Close to Cape Town and wonderful surrounding country. To enjoy at its best a stay of 4+ nights is best.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves. The staff are wonderful.

Stellenbosch with its town, restaurants and surrounding wineries are an absolute must while visiting South Africa. If you want a superb steak, go to The Fat Butcher. If you want a superb fish and chips to go Genki. If you want stunning views and great coffee visit Hidden Valley Winery. If you want stunning views and great wine, coffee and food visit Ernie Els Winery.

The rooms are very nicely decorated and spacious as we like. The service is exceptional. Since there is no restaurant in the hotel (only breakfast), concierges Amy and Kaylee arranged some amazing restaurants for us and accommodated all our requests. It's very calming to notice how well and efficiently this hotel is run. As a bonus, there are two amazing cats who enjoy the company of the guests.
