Didn't always feel safe to be walking near the beach front.

I grew up in East London & completed my schooling there. Very family oriented city with lots to do, beautiful beaches, sporting activities & several shopping malls with a variety of shops & restaurants.
The one bedroom Garden Flat in East London, South Africa, is lovely, clean and reasonably priced. It is in the garden and underneath the house of the owners and also has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. There are three fans to keep the humidity and heat at bay in summer. The bedding is luxurious. Guests are allowed use of the pool lower down in the garden. In the freezer we found two frozen meals, prepared by a local caterer we could buy if we wanted to. We enjoyed our stay. 😊
Everything that its offered, it like living from home. The location and facilities at the establishment was excellent,. When we booked for accommodation in East London we did not expect much, but what we experienced on our stay was far better than staying at a hotel. Felicity and team thank you for a wonderful weekend, to anyone who need a break in East London your establishment is the one to choose. Thank you once again
When we arrived we were booked on standard room and I recalled that when I was checking the hotel, it had an option for upgrade and when I enquired at the hotel, the option was not available but the manager (I forgot her name but it was a lady) gladly upgraded us to a Suit with Sea View. Much respect to her. And thank you very much
The flat was fully kitted out and even had a smart TV which was a nice surprise - something you would only expect at an expensive accommodation.
The location, although right next to the back of the local hotel, is a stone's throw away from the sea and the boardwalk leading to a beautiful beach.
Overall, exceptional value for money.
The food was nice but the buffet process was frustrating. The queue for the eggs was extremely long. Some breakfast items ran out and they were not replenished. The hotel is perfectly located, you have private access to the beach and lagoon.
They only put 1 towel 😔
There's no wifi
I wasn't told about the dining hall .
I wasn't told where was my room. I had to go back to them to ask as it was my first time at the Hotel. Enjoyed my stay anyway 😌
Just the beauty of the view who would have thought nestled away in Dorchester heights, east london, south Africa is the hidden gem with a spectacular, picturesque view with most tranquil setting
The facilities were excellent
My son did a Photoshoot for his matric ball
View and facilities are excellent
We also enjoyed our stay
The room rate is also affordable
The place is closer to the beach, and the Blue Lagoon Hotel is a 5-minute walkway. It is nice and quiet. Very good for an escape from all the city noise.
