Gen is an exceptional host, she is very kind and so accommodating to her guests.
Nahoon bed and breakfast is located in a quiet suburb, it is very clean and well taken care of.
There are thoughtful touches e.g boardgames, pool table, braai facilities by the pool area to keep guests engaged and entertained.
Checking-in and out was seamless, regardless of the fact that we showed up 2 hours earlier than expected.
All in all Gen's hosting skills are top tier, and very rare. I highly recommend this place.

I grew up in East London & completed my schooling there.
I grew up in East London & completed my schooling there. Very family oriented city with lots to do, beautiful beaches, sporting activities & several shopping malls with a variety of shops & restaurants.
The breakfast was superb and vegetarian options were specially provided. The owner and her daughter welcomed us and made us feel right at home, like old family. The home is beautiful and furnished with antiques and works of art. We had a private spacious deck overlooking the Nahoon River. The shady garden is lovely and the swimming pool would be a great plus in summer. Secure parking is available. I would definitely stay here again on any future visit to East London. Baie dankie, Ansa en Ilsa vir julle gasvryheid!
Exceptional ocean view from the balcony (if you pick balcony room). Business DSTV package with a variety of channels including full sports package. It's near the Port so you can see ships coming in and out. If you are lucky you can also catch a view from your balcony of whales breaching. It's very quiet. No noise around the hotel and guests also keep the premises quiet. No one bothers you. Everyone minds their own business but you can get assistance from staff when you need it.
The venue and location was so beautiful. It was easy getting there and check in and check went smoothly. Toni and her husband were really great hosts, and were very accommodating. The breakfast was really good and tasty. The room was spacious and clean. My friends and I enjoyed our stay. I will definitely stay there next time I am in East London.
The flat was fully kitted out and even had a smart TV which was a nice surprise - something you would only expect at an expensive accommodation.
The location, although right next to the back of the local hotel, is a stone's throw away from the sea and the boardwalk leading to a beautiful beach.
Overall, exceptional value for money.
The breakfast was lovely and the cook was very friendly and helpful. The team at the hotel was friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. It was our first time staying there and we will definitely stay there again. Great value for money.
Not enough coffeee and tea, one set of bathroom towels. I was confronted in the morning if what time I was leaving the hotel, dont esxpect this, I thougth if you book a suite there are always exception, any way that was before 10 am
Great value for money - clean, tidy and quiet. Lovely and safe suburb and close to shops and mall. Would recommend to someone needing a few nights accommodation in East London - was booked for guests attending a wedding.
They only put 1 towel 😔

I wasn't told about the dining hall .
I wasn't told where was my room. I had to go back to them to ask as it was my first time at the Hotel. Enjoyed my stay anyway 😌
The spacious rooms with great Seaview. Big open windows to enjoy the breeze. Easily accessible parking and restaurant facilities within walking distance from the hotel. Great staff at reception.
