Easy to get around, stayed at Babylonstoren and ate and drank at the property. Food was great, fresh and healthy but the property is way too busy with "Day visitors" - talking bus loads....... All very special indeed. I was there with 3 adult children. We did everything on offer. The bikes/the walks/the runs and the swimming and canoeing in the lake and the most super food at breakfast most particularly. It would suit all kinds of families/age groups. We only had 3 days there and so potentially one could run out of things to do but we didn't.

Excellent location for travelling to and from and well situated close to Paarl. Bablyonstoren and Vrede en Lust are close by for vinyards. Also Paarl is only 5 km away. It is well situated with fine views of the mountains and vinyards.JFGIreland

I had a great conversations with the host, she is a lovely woman. Telling me stories of the history and preparing a small early breakfast. Would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend it!
